my friend and i went to a crime & the city solution gig and the guitarist they work with now (joshua murphy) towards the end started playing a pretty banged up guitar that looked exactly like the olympic white fender jaguar rowland howard used from the 70s onwards and joshua had some inexplicable technical issues with it several times, the e string just stopped working and at one point he said "this guitar doesn't want me to play it." haunted!
