Libya's Long, Slow Recovery
Essentially a sequel to my Bin Laden post...
Moammar Qaddafi was killed today. The big story.
It brought back echoes of last April when the world was busy discussing the death of Osama bin Laden. While these are different stories, it isn’t too hard to note the similarities, and I feel like many of the thoughts I had come to the surface when Bin Laden was executed resonate well with Qaddafi’s execution.
Here, on my other blog, is an original post of mine I wrote in April surrounding Osama’s death. Most of my opinions there, also apply to this situation. So much so, that what follows will seem a lot like a paraphrase. Ironically, at the very end of that post, I list Qaddafi among remaining “bad guys” in the world.
