Today’s late breakfast or brunch if you prefer is from my favourite Vegetarian Rice (斋饭) stall further down the road. Mum got herself Fried Bee Hoon (炒米粉) or rice vermicelli with two portions of mock char siu and bok choy stir-fry. I had rice with knotted bean curd skin stew, mock pork ribs and curry mutton with potato. The sweet and creamy ribs are still pink inside and come with a piece of sugarcane for bone.
