hi there! you left some absolutely lovely comments on my taz art of the twins, and i wanted to stop in and thank you!! i think your art is incredibly gorgeous and looking at it is like a treat for my eyes :) also i noticed you made a post about your dnd characters--i think talking about people's campaigns is super fun and i'd love to hear more about yours if you wanted to chat? :0
Hi !! Thanks for the compliments - your art is really cool as well and I can’t wait to see more of it ! :D
As for the campaign, I’m super excited about it too ! I met our party last year and jumped in a Curse of Strahd campaign, and we liked our group so much we decided to take them back for a ride for a Tomb of Annihilation campaign, so that’s cool !! Our party members are :
Yvelda, a half-orc bard who is basically the greatest and also she’s the only party member with enough Charisma and Intelligence to be able to speak to... Basically anyone :p She’s the face-character of the party and also 98% of its impulse control. She grew up in a small rural town where she was super hated by others because racism - she doesn’t speak about it but from what we’ve gathered her mom was raped by orcs but she decided to keep her and now Yvelda hates orcs and often magically hides her orcish features (but after Strahd died we came back to her hometown rich as fuck and we were sacred lords of the land and we made everyone who’d ever made fun of her run away like chickens and it was an awesome session)Haggrin, a dwarf cleric, he’s the team annoying little brother although he’s like 90 years old. He was mad during Strahd’s campaign, but we did some stuff and we discovered that his god was actually... Gone ? And had been replaced by a powerful necromancer entity of chaos ? And we... Accidentally let it free in exchange for Haggrin’s sanity ? So that’s a thing he’s dealing with now. He’s really polite but also really silly (although not as much now that he’s sane). He used to carry around a twig from an undead tree we’d killed, stuck in a pot of Barovia’s cursed soil, fertilised with the dust from bones of dead children, and we didn’t really know what to make of it until one fateful session where he said “I SUMMON MY FAMILIAR” and behold Chaotic Evil Twig Familiar “Twiggy” was born.
Silver, a Tabaxi druid - she’s not super developed yet because she’s “new” (the player’s last character, Velshaw, died crushed by a house) but she hates undeads something fierce and has absolutely no people skills because she’s, well, a cat. She also seems to really enjoy mass destruction for some reason ? And we’re told she’s “neutral” yeah my ASS. If Yvelda has 98% percent of the party’s impulse control, Haggrin has 1% and her and Joanna take turns with the remaining 1% given the situation.Joanna : my beloved human fighter who is 6.6 and has a crystal sword and who looks cool and collected and strong as fuck and is actually a fucking naive idiot (but she IS strong as fuck so that’s a thing).
I hope we don’t die ahah
