V!Pearl wig has arrived!!

This is it semi-styled (aka very rushed braids and a rose slapped on top) but I think it's pretty cute :D

Now to figure out how to keep my cats from finding it until Friday...

(Also, as you can see in the forth picture, there's a very annoying little bold spot where the hair part is (no that's not my wig cap, that's the wig 😭) so if anyone knows any good ways to hide it, please lmk <3)

Hey cosplay question if anyone could offer help. Does anyone know of an instrument or something what would make a noise similar to Sherma's in silksong? I wanna cosplay them but am dumb and dont really know what would make that sound. (My brain can only come up with a triangle and I dont think that's right.)

Is it socially acceptable to walk bare feet at a convention if I’m cosplaying a guy who is canonically bare feet?

I’m cosplay Kayne from Malevolent for a convention in the end of February and I need to know is it acceptable because I can always just get red socks and shoes but I like to be as canon as possible

I’m sure there are a lot of cosplayers around here so hey guys pls help out a beginner!! How can I dye fake leather? Google said use acrylics but is there any way to make it waterproof? I emailed a company that sells dyes for leathers and they said it won’t work on fake leather and I really don’t want to use actual leather. So yeah if you guys know either a dye for fake leather or a way to make it waterproof after dying it with acrylic paint, please tell me!! (I want to dye a fake leather corset belt)

TENNA COSPLAY HEAD QUESTIONS

hi tenna cosplayers and material science enjoyers…. first of all i think you’re all going to heaven… second i have some questions from a confused beginner cosplayer. been gathering intel from other cosplayers both online and in person and i think i just need extra help

is white fursuit eye mesh the best thing to cover my face? ive been told painting the inside black would make it look more “opaque”!

and also, so the nose sticks on, do you use glass/plastic? friend suggested i can use one way panes, which are reflective but i wouldn’t mind that at all either!

for the head itself, is a papier-mâché’d cardboard box better than green foam?

if you have magnets such as for the mouth or the assumed glass, what gauge is it?
