Hi, I was wondering if qpp (queer platonic partners) hcs were okay to send? In case if anyone doesn’t know, some aromantic or asexual people get into these relationships where they aren’t romantic, but still very intimate, and some of them do majority of the things that romantic relationships do (like kissing, going on dates, marriage) but it’s from a platonic relationship instead of a romantic one (with aromantics who don’t seek romance but still want intimacy), at least, that’s from my experiences with qpps. So would sending in qpp ship hcs be okay, or no? Cause it’s not a Brotp, but it also isn’t a romantic ship? It’s like somewhere in the middle, so I wanted to check before asking.

Honestly, I’m not sure? I mean yeah, it’s like a relationship, but it really puts the emphasis on platonic, especially when it’s in the name too. I guess I’ll only accept them if it’s a minor addition to the confession (like a sexuality headcanon) because I honestly can’t see myself accepting anything that has it as the main focus of the confession, if that makes any sense?

So, I come out as trans to my parents two years ago, and it went... Fine. Things are tense but we're working things through. However, back then they'd made something very evident: if I wanted to be a man, I had to date/like women. I didn't really think about that back then, because I was worried about other things. After talking with my therapist though, I'm like 90% sure that I'm gay. Because, well... She pointed out how little I actually seemed to want a girlfriend, how I only dated a girl in the past because she pressured me into it, and how I didn't really find any girls attractive the way I did with guys.

And I'm just. Worried about that. I came out as trans because I wanted to be honest with my parents, but now there's a new thing I gotta hide and it sucks. I wish they could see me as a real man even if I like men.

Ghahahah, congrats on getting closer to figuring yourself anon! I know that kinda stuff can be hard. And no matter who you like, as long as you identify as one, you are one!

As for your parents, it's really shitty that they think that you have to be attracted to a gender to be yourself.
