(in case anyone doesnāt know what they are, theyāre a sort of a device with a tube attached that the singer would put their mouth on and make different shapes with their mouth and talk/sing into it to get different effects. Think of the Whaw-whaw-whaw from Bon Joviās Livinā on a Prayer. That effect came from a talkbox.)
Fuyuhiko
- he was wondering what your ultimate was, because he didnāt initially know what a talk box was. so he asked you to show him.
- and you of course showed him.
- in turn, he was trying his best to not look shocked. he was so confused when you set up the tube attached to the microphone. and then when you actually looked like you were gonna start eating the tube, he was confused, alright.
- but then the sound that came out of it was super strange. it was like your voice, but like you were a strange robot stuck in a tube? itās a cool effect, but really strange on its own.
- so you decide to show him some of your music youāve made with it.
- now he gets why youāre the ultimate talk box musician. the effect unit paired up with your music sounds so good! like holy shit, heās gotta listen to your music now.
- after a while, he might wanna try talking into the talk box to see what he sounds like. that little machine and itās funky effect has definitely grown on him.
Ibuki
- she knows exactly what a talkbox is, so when she found out there was another musician ultimate, she was all over you.
- she immediately wanted to make duets with you and learn to use a talk box as well.
- the effect it makes is really cool! she may be the ultimate musician, but not even ibuki knows how to make effects like that. heck, she doesnāt really know how to use a talkbox.
- so please please PLEASE teach her! she always begs you with big sparkles in her eyes. she really wants to learn from the talkbox master.
- the two of you eventually get around to doing duets and she loves it.
- youāre gonna be going with her to all of her concerts and playing on stage with her. cuz holy shit, your music sounds awesome!
- in fact, she might eventually might wanna start a music duo with you where you include your talkbox with the music the two of you collaborate on.
- she has so many plans for what sort of music you two can make together, so sheās incredibly excited (as always)
Hajime
- like fuyuhiko, he didnāt really know what a talk box was, so you gave him a demonstration.
- and wow, when you started playing your usual instrument paired with the talk box, he instantly got why you had the title of being the ultimate talk box musician.
- it turns out you can use it on several things, like guitar, talking into it (like the name implies)
- he might have the instinct of wanting to talk into it like itās a fan. you know how sometimes when thereās an electric fan and you just sit there and talk into it to sound like a robot? yeah, like that.
- why not teach him how to use it? he seems to be quite interested in it. Hajime would have to learn how to use an instrument or how to properly use the talk box, but he still wants to learn!
- itās a great honour to be learning it from an ultimate. he has a great admiration for you because of how much time youāve devoted to the art, and he wants to learn it as well.
- when heās not trying to learn how to use the talk box, heās also listening to your music. that shit slaps.
