definitelymeg replied to your photo “I got very excited and made an abundance of collages with my Mod...”
Fantastic shots! And lovely colours too.
Hey thank you so much! It means a lot to me when I get a compliment like that :) The colours are indeed gorgeous!
Mod Lacquer holographic nail polishes

As I promised in my previous Mod Lacquer swatch post, this time I will show you the holographic nail polishes. I got Majic Eyes Only, Zero Point and Interstellar Artifact. I don't own a lot of holographic nail polishes, so I'm not an expert, but I will try my best to describe them. All of them are linear holos btw.
The first one, and my personal favorite is Majic Eyes Only, wich is a gorgeous dark purple, but it have some blue in it too, so it' maybe a blurple. I think this is the most holographic from the 3, it's really amazing. Really pigmented, almost covers in one coat, but I recommend 2 coats. Dries quickly and leaves a shiny finish. For the pictures I used only a regular basecoat, so if you have Nfu Oh Aquabase you can achieve even more holo effect.
I think it's a pretty good holographic nail polish.
I took the photos in sunlight and under a lamp. Without any light, it's just a simple purple nail polish like any other holographic polish would be.
My second favorite is Zero Point, which is a silver one. I recommend 2 thicker or 3 thinner coats for the perfect coverage. I think it's really pretty and the holographic effect is great too!
Interstellar Artifact is a bronzy, coppery gold, so it's more of the orange side than the yellow. The color is pretty unique I think, but it doesn't really work out with my skintone, I don't really like orange/warm yellow on me, but it's totally a personal preference, the nail polsih itself is really awesome. Applies in 2 coats, dries quickly and have a really nice holo effect.
If you're a fan of holographic nail polishes, then you really should check these out, they are really pretty. And thanks again Jennifer, that I could try these awesome nail polishes! :)

And if you've missed out Paranormal Paradise and Satire, you can have a look HERE!
Paranormal Paradise is a glitter topcoat. The clear base is filled with holographic round and hexagon glitters in different sizes. It's a colorful craziness, but in a good way! I love the brush, it's really easy to work with. You can get a lot of glitter with one coat, although for the bigger round glitters you have to do some fishing, but it's manageable and it's really worth it, because the result is spectacular!
Satire is an orange-coral jelly based nail polish with tiny yellow hexagon glitters. I don't like orange, but this have a lot of coral in it, so I really like it, and it goes well with my skintone! It's a perfect choice for summer, but it can be a great Halloween nail polish too, because it reminds me of a pumpkin :)
The formula is great, although the first coat seemed sheer, but it builds up with a second coat. So, I used 2 coats, the first one was thinner, the second was thicker. This way you can achieve a great opacity.
What I really like about this nail polish, that it dries shiny. A lot of nail polishes with a jelly base dries matte or half matte (which I hate), but not this one!

Heyyy, I managed to pull together another swatch. My nails even have some length. I'll get back on track soon, I hope. Life has been crazy, to say the least. But on to the polish!
Today I have Goblin from Mod Lacquer. It's an interesting green-brown duochrome with fine holographic glitter. Pictured is three coats of Goblin with one coat of top coat.
I rather like this polish. Dry time was pretty normal, and it had a mostly-matte finish. Unlike Galatic Aura, this one didn't seem to have any grit when it dried. However, it was similarly difficult to photograph the color shift. In person, the shift makes the color look like it's glowing!
Another polish with which I'm very happy! I don't think I've ever seen a polish quite like it. It's so interesting. Wear seems pretty good - no worse than any other polish I have, and I'm pretty hard on my hands. The only real problem I encountered was a wonky brush that made application difficult. I'm happy to recommend this color to those looking for a unique color to add to their collection.
