Labels are like clothing
You can try them on, see what fits. Maybe something fits for awhile, and then doesn't. Maybe sometimes it doesn't fit very well, and sometimes it's perfect. Maybe it fits, but it's not very comfortable.
You can wear multiple labels at a time, as many as you'd like. Maybe more than one or two becomes stifling, but maybe they make you feel cozy. Maybe you like one type of label better than another type.
The thing about labels and clothes is, they're not permanent. The novelty of a pretty new dress wears off, and now the hem is unraveling and the elastic pinches. Or you've had a shirt for a long time and loved it, but now your body has changed and it doesn't fit right anymore, plus it's wearing thin. Or maybe you're just bored of that sweater. And maybe once the novelty of calling yourself nonbinary wears off, you won't like that label. Or you've been calling yourself asexual for years and it just doesn't ring true now. It doesn't matter.
You don't keep clothes you don't wear. They just take up space in your closet. Don't keep labels you don't love. They just take up space in your brain.
