So since you said that 3rd Life is heightening Ren’s wolf instincts and this carries over to HC, what exactly changes?
Also does changes to like Scar being in pure vex form or Etho’s mouth shifting carry over to HC too?

Aight so I’m still forming my headcanons for how Ren works, but I like to think that he’s getting more dog like senses(i.e. Ren admitting that the amount of people in Renchanting was kind of chaotic and loud and he couldn’t think goes along with dogs having sensitive ears. We also know that Ren said he could hear better after getting the ears), and the ears are actually becoming part of him rather than just being stitched on like they were(because I still love that Bdubs canonically sewed them on). His teeth are getting sharper, his arms get hairier, he’s getting a rather larger appetite, the typical wolfman stuff. He never gets full wolf, he’s just a hybrid of sorts, but it is obvious he isn’t human anymore.
For Scar, being on 3rd Life means he isn’t with Cub. He doesn’t have the magic balance like he does when he’s in Hermitcraft. The two of them have balanced magic, and if one of them is using more magic at the time, the other has less(this actually cues into my Demise headcanons, I like to think that Cub had more magic when he met his demise and that’s why he looked like a Vex hybrid. He isn’t a full Vex like Scar, but he does have access to their magic). This means Scar has more Vex magic than he has had in years, so it’s kind of messing with his appearance. His ears are pointier, his fingers are icey blue, his scars turn a bit more red, etc… Whenever he returns to Hermitcraft, he reverts to normal, because his body registers that he’s in the same world with Cub and balances him. This also is the reason why he is more unhinged on 3rd Life when compared to Hermitcraft.
And for Etho, his mouth tends to…. Not exist. If you were to remove his mask, he would have no mouth. When he talks, his mouth tends to show up as little holes(as seen below, it’s not exactly how I envision it but it gets the point across), but because of the mask, nobody ever sees it. His true form just has a black goopy void of a mouth, but he’s good at keeping stable enough that it won’t ever really show. On 3rd Life though? Well, he was going to try and remain calm, but then he lost his tree. He may act calm on the outside but that’s just the calm before the storm. He rarely takes his mask off in both worlds, so it’s not like anybody is ever going to see his mouth.
And on that last note. That’s valid. I just find it funny to imagine him as a human surrounded by non humans, and he is completely okay with that. He knows that Impulse isn’t human, but of course Impulse seems to not realize that fact himself(“I think I’m human” + getting offended by Cleo saying being human is out of fashion). I can totally see him as non-human though. I just find it hilarious to imagine it because imagine people speculating on what he is but he’s just...some dude with a ripped suit who happens to be close friends with the local Enderborn and a Netherborn.
I did not expect to ramble about that nearly as long as I did but I hope that suffices! I’ve been thinking about this literally since I first heard the server concept in Ren’s first episode.
