Satellite dishes? Gordon perked up at that and looked behind him, seeing the towers in the distance. That was the only sign of civilization Gordon could see. He prayed to whatever God that wasn’t Mr Coolatta that there were humans and that they would be friendly.
“The lights were on someone had to be maintaining them, right?” He asked, looking back to the Science Team. It made sense after all.
“Allow me Gordon!” Coomer said, and then moments later was launching himself up with his power legs, good to know those were still functional. Gordon watched Coomer rocket up into the sky, clearing the tree line with ease.
”Uh...... Oh..kay.” Gordon said to himself, seeing that the older scientist reached his peak before looking back down. “Not... 100 percent sure what he-“
“Good News Gordon!” Coomer cheerfully said as he landed with a thud behind Gordon, thoroughly shocking the Hev Suited man and causing him to exclaim loudly.
“There does appear to be human activity! It appears to be a Fortification or Bunker of some sort!”
“Thanks Doctor Coomer.” He said, sighing a bit as he turned back to the others, ignoring Coomer’s incomprehensible rambling on what he assumed where the wikipedia articles for the aforementioned places
“Let’s get going then, I guess.” Hopefully this wouldn’t be anything like what they went through back in Black Mesa...
