Have you already sent out the emails to the artists you've chosen?
Notifications to our contributors has been slower than anticipated. I'm worried about being flagged as Spam again so I'm sending out invites 3 at a time.
The order of notifications is first batch of artists and writers will be invited. Then we'll deliberate again to fill any other spots and send out those invites. Then anyone else will be informed they weren't chosen at the moment. I'll make a post when all messages have been sent out!

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but do the writing samples have to be about the JSA or can they be previously published fics from other fandoms? Thanks
They do not need to be jsa! We've received a few from a variety of fandoms!

Should the possible contributors be 18+ to apply? Even if they are applying for a sfw zine only?
