I only just found out that the girl from Ace’s cover story, Moda. Is the same girl the revolutionary army helped in Lulusia.
God unironically I love little things like this in One piece. This is a girl who makes a short appearance in a little side story. Where Ace helps her deliver a letter to her parents who work for the marines. She is hard working and basically on her own, and 2 years later we see her grown up and while hard working barely being able to pay her taxes.
We get so little of her but the small snippets show how live is for an ordinary citizen in the One Piece world. Which is so important to show.
I already really enjoyed her as a new addition to the revolutionary army but knowing she was the kid Ace helped, makes it even more special.
