53: “ It’s lonely here without you. ” - Megsay?
Meg stroked the hair under her fingers, the fiery red to blonde unkempt from their.. Previous activity. They lay in comfortable silence, the only noise being the movie they had resumed watching after they had missed a couple of parts.
“I like having you back.” Lindsay whispered, so softly Meg wondered if she really heard it. She smiled as she placed a kiss on the redhead’s forehead.
“I like being back,” she said. Lindsay shifted against her side to look up at her, a sadness in her eyes that shouldn’t be there. Meg’s brows furrowed and she sat up as well. “What’s wrong?” She asked, her hands taking Lindsay’s while her thumbs rubbed circles into her knuckles.
“Do you really have to leave again? You just got back from your last shoot.” Lindsay’s gaze turned to stare at the sheets, shoulders sagging. “It’s lonely here without you,” she admitted.
Meg sighed before tugging the other to her chest. “I know it is.” She whispered.

Meg hung up the phone just as Lindsay walked into the room. She pat the bed beside her and Lindsay obeyed the silent command. “I’ve got news,” she started.
Lindsay waited for what felt like eternity before caving. “What news?” She asked skeptically, her nails on one hand picking at the skin on the other.
“This is my last shoot for a while.” The words spilled out, Meg unable to contain her excitement to share the news. But Lindsay just stared at her with wide eyes.
“Bu-but you had stuff planned for, like, the whole month?” Meg nodded along to the words before holding up her phone.
“I was just talking to Free and he agreed to postpone those for a later time. I’m going to stay home for a little bit. With you.” She practically shook with energy as she waited for the news to sink in. Finally, Lindsay’s grin matched hers and their lips crashed together in a kiss that was too sweet to be painful. Their arms wrapped around each other, Meg’s automatically moved to hang around Lindsay’s neck, one hand going to rest in the red hair to deepen the kiss.
“I love you. I love you. I love you.” Lindsay repeated as she trailed kissed down Meg’s neck and slowly pushed her onto her back on the bed, giggles filling the air around them.
