The Model B3 chair or best known now as The Wassily chair.
Revolutionary furniture design by former Bauhaus student and lecturer, Marcel Breuer. His inspiration was simply the tubular steel handle bars from his bicycle, yet his use of innovative, modern and new technology and materials enabled him to create the first chair made from seamless tubular steel. Still in production today, the chair has withstood the test of time and is justification for why it is a inspiring, iconic piece of design today.
