#model peeling

They went so unnecessarily hard on some textures we would never ever see.

I peeled Il Capitano and these are my findings.

Firstly I'm DELIGHTED to share that this model has no face texture. YIPPEE!

Second, he's using a completely new model, so performing the usual ass study is... difficult to say the least. It's interesting that because of his no face texture (I assume) his face has minimal detail. Smart move on the modelers. I tried to do my usual method of lining up at the nose, looking at the models... uh, yeah. Just strictly on model size, Capitano dethrones Zhongli. Congrats, king. However, when it comes to crack depth, Zhongli still has him beat.

Science is hard.

I like to imagine that they wanted to put Lynette in heels but decided she should match with Lyney, and the alternative would be to put Lyney in stilettos so they could still match. Which would slap, by the way.

It is also tradition to do an ass analysis of peeled men.

A while back, I did a comparison of Alhaitham's and Itto's wireframes and textures.

Let's look at that.

The shading is a major contributing factor, but Haitham is undoubtably still more sculpted.

Also fun fact, Haitham has a uniquely shaped face. In the last image, you'll see that the green wireframe doesn't match with the others at all.
