What I Eat in a Day~
Here is a documented day of what I usually eat every day! Unless its a cheat day (which is kinda rare for me) or holiday. My diet is super clean, and contains only healthy pure foods. I like to know exactly what goes into my body, and I like to make sure that I’m consuming whole, organic, fresh foods. I load up on veggies and protein!!!! I really try to stay away from processed carbs, infant I can’t even remember the last time I had bread, pasta, oatmeal... So my diet is very low carb, I do include them though! I eat a lot of protein, some healthy fats, and a whole lot of VEGGIES! Agh I love veggies! I eat very clean the majority of the time, but sometimes I’ll eat more or I will splurge a little...because thats life :) Here’s a breakdown of exactly what I eat in a day, and pictures of my exact meals to go with it!
Breakfast: 3 egg whites, six strips of a bell pepper with some sort of spices herb seasoning and a coffee with a cup of unsweetened almond milk
Lunch: 1 whole sweet potato- I eat the skin, its full of really good nutrients! Sometimes, if I feel like splurging a little, I’ll put some honey mustard on the potato skin. Then I’ll have a half of an avocado for healthy fats. My sweet potato is my carb for the day which gives me my midday energy, and the half of an avocado is delicious and a really pure healthy fat.
Snack: Coffee with 1/2 cup of unsweetened almond milk!! YUM! I like to put cinnamon on top of it for extra taste. Cinnamon is a great substitute for sugar.
Dinner: 2 stalks of chopped romaine leaves, a full baby zucchini, 6 strips of a bell pepper, a whole chicken breast, and two table spoons of fat free Italian dressing. I honestly love this salad, it gives me life. Its SO yummy and tasteful. I like to cook my zucchini on the stove with a little bit of coconut oil spray and some seasoning, and do the same with my chicken breast. I stay away from cooking with olive oil because its really high in calories and its very easy to over do it...which then adds a bunch of unnecessary calories to your diet. I put my salad into a big bowl and dig in...agh just thinking about it makes me excited for dinner! Lol
Anyways, thats all I eat as a model in NYC. I drink a lot of water between my meals and during my meals, and always sit down to enjoy them. I take my time when eating them. Don’t rush through meals--you won’t feel satisfied and you’ll feel hungry once finishing, which then leads to binge eating more food. Thats not good! My best advice is to know exactly what type of food is going into your body. Whole, fresh and organic are the best for your body. Stay away from artificial foods. First, they aren’t real, and second, they aren’t doing any good to your body! But, obviously every once in awhile you should splurge and have them!
