There is a spaced out look in Byakuya’s eyes as he asks Alice his question, an expression he had been seen with an increasing frequency as the days of the motive went on. In his usual habit of nervousness he was holding his bag tightly against his chest- Though he had good reason for it now, considering he couldn’t allow anything to happen to the multiple journals he was now keeping inside...among other things.

“I was thinking we could maybe...test that out. If that woman had mentioned giving donations in her recommendations, then it has to do something, right?” Keep all of his written memories from being erased without warning, for example..

The librarian heard familiar footsteps. It can’t be, she thought. She looked up, and discovered that not only could it be, it was.

What a pleasant surprise. She smiled.

“Alice!” she called out and waved her over to where she was sitting. “This is an unexpected pleasure.

“May I assume you’re here because you were curious about just what it was I had planned for your girls, and wanted to see for yourself?”

Early one morning, as Alice’s dolls were hanging out the laundry outside her house in the Forest of Magic...

“...Oh! Tiny people...?”

Someone discovered them! That someone being a rather curious robot maid! She bent down, putting her face up very close to one of their tiny figures to get a better look. “Oh, you’re all so small...” she whispered, a little smile forming on her lips. They were awfully cute. What were a bunch of tiny people doing out here, anyway? Oh, wait, she knew! They were putting the laundry out to dry, yes? But they were so small, and it was probably difficult for such tiny people to do such a big job!

“I can help! Work protocol initiated! Operation: Laundry!”

If she helped, it would make it easier for them! Helping is the polite thing to do here, yes! She starts taking clothes from the basket, and begins to help put them on the line.

...Dear, you don’t even know who these belong to. And you’re not doing it very well, either. Look, you just put one shirt on top of another shirt.
