The first thing on this farm were horses and chickens. I had been around both before, but it wasn’t until I lived with .... well all animals. We built this farm from scratch so I would have to chase off our free range chickens in order to put up a fence or any other random thing. When a hen would turn and look at me with attitude, as if she was sizing me up wondering if it came to blows who would walk away. She did eventually walk away.
