Hiccup returns to a rather frosty (in all senses) Berk after going to college and seemingly never looking back. Luckily, his ex appears more forgiving than the town.

Uh... glad you think it’s cool! But a lot of tiny details overlooked here. Astrid has completely different interests. Astrid doesn’t want to go to MIT/isn’t the sort of person who waylay their future/career for “love”/Astrid likely couldn’t get into MIT unless she was 100% focused on it (for her, that is, not for Hiccup) and to do that would be rounding us back to neglecting her own interests in her future so...
just to name a few, no Astrid would not go with him to MIT :/

The AU that I had hoped to post on Christmas or before winter was over is going along well. I've been writing for about twenty minutes twice a day and it's okie. xP It's about Astrid coming home to surprise her husband and daughter for Christmas, or as Berk calls it, Snoggletog. They're an isolated island but make trade with lots of different countries with fish, fabric material, coal, and oil but their traditions are defiantly different.
