Alfred has to be so frustrated!! Allen pestering him on a level where at the end of the day Alfred isn’t sure if he’s still making fun or if he’s actually being mean 🥺 so the next day Alfred calls him to his office all serious because he’s sensitive and not used to people talking back every time but Allen thinks fuck he’s going to fire me. so naturally he drops to his knees to suck him off hoping this will show Alfred what he’s about to lose but Alfred’s like.. “this is nice but I just wanted to talk? about you being mean to me all day yesterday 😢”

General 2- Did they have an official first date? If so, what was it like?

In nation verse I don’t think they had an official first date as they had gone on unofficial dates years before they ever pulled their heads out of their asses and started dating officially.

But I do think their first date with each other after getting together was awkward at first because Arthur doesn’t know how to emotion and Francis was trying way too hard. Then as the date progressed it wasn’t as awkward anymore and just very comfortable between them as it had been before.

amelia starting to get interested in british culture and things as a whole, which delights arthur to no end because now he has an excuse to keep talking about the things that defined his childhood when he still lived in old england

she tries to imitate niall’s irish accent for a whole week and the kirkland-bonnefoy household is in chaos the entire time

some other parents expressing growing concern over how obsessed their children are about 1d and pta officer arthur kirkland defending them with his entire chest

matching 1d sweaters that arthur knits for christmas!

and last but not the least, francis wanting to love and support his daughter so much but also horrified at how clearly he can see her following in teen!arthur’s path......the rabid overexplanations when people say one mildly bad thing about the band, the constant rewatching of related documentaries and concert footage, becoming nothing but a void that engulfs all kinds of trivia, and all the merch, dear god, the merch. you know the feeling when you know your loved one is going through something huge and you can do nothing but watch them inevitably destroy themselves over time? francis knows. he knows all too well. god help him

why did your analysis of why arthurs a paul stan literally make me tear up ajshsjahjs why is this getting so developed 😭😭 its hurting my heart now, just the thought of little arthur resonating with paul trying SO hard to keep the band together is making me ugly cry... it doesnt help that im also listening to oh darling on repeat now

but now that you mention oh darling, i’m getting this idea that maybe arthur and francis once had a huge fight before they got married. i’m not entirely set on what that fight was about per se, just that they said some really, really hurtful things to each other. it’s notable because it’s the one fight where, as usual, arthur tried listening to oh darling on repeat to cope — except this time, he could barely get past the second verse without turning it off. the second he heard paul’s rasping vocals go low and sing don’t ever leave me alone, it just hurt way too much to continue.

they make up, of course. but now, every time arthur senses that their bickering is going to develop into a Serious Fight, his brain just goes don’t ever leave me don’t ever leave me please believe me i’ll never do you no harm. luckily, francis is really good at comforting his husband and soothing his fears. after all, no matter what kind of arguments or struggles they face, francis knows he feels the same: he’ll love him forever and forever, love him with all his heart, he will.
