Show me what love looks like 💜
I never knew what forever is,
because if you loved me
how can you let me go?
I've never felt true love before,
The only love I know
is the Love I gave you.
Because waiting for you to Love me hurt more than leaving you 💔
I loved you
until I broke myself
and you wonder why
did I walk away?
I wonder too
when I still dream of you
I walked away
because leaving you
was easier than letting you go.
Unconditional
I want to run into you
like I used to before
it was unintentional,
that's what I told my heart.
There's an ache in me
to be where you are,
it would be unconditional
I'll simply admire you from afar.

Hug by Ron Padgett

The older I get, the more I like hugging. When I was little the people hugging me were much larger. In their grasp I was a rag doll. In adolescence, my body was too tense to relax for a hug. Later, after the loss of virginity—which was anything but a loss—the extreme proximity of the other person, the smell of hair, the…
