And the fic of my dreams is basically Bruce slowly seducing Alfred and Alfred trying his very best to resist him because, dammit, Bruce is a kid and his responsibility and he already feels utterly ashamed of himself for wanting him at all, but he’s sure as hell not going to do anything about it. And Bruce calmly explains to him that he’s being ridiculous, that Bruce is very mature for his age and knows what he wants, and eventually he wears Alfred down because Alfred can’t bear it to make him sad, not when so few things make Bruce smile these days. So much angst and guilt and shame and also it’d be hot. :D (Also, if this happened when Bruce was 16 or so, Alfred would be downright relieved when 18-year-old Bruce leaves for his grand tour of becoming a ninja because he’d think that Bruce needs the distance to move on, to get over his obsession with Alfred, maybe fall in love with someone else, and he spends years worrying and trying not to pine, and then Bruce comes back a few years later, grownup and built and strong and confident and still not one bit less in love with him than when he left. :D)
