Modest reviews the game "Journey"
I went into this game knowing absolutely nothing about it other than you can sand surf. I didn't even know you could have other players in this game. I just thought this person was an NPC. But then they started interacting with me as a player would and we made our journey together. The feeling I got from traveling with this person really sold the experience for me. I'm not gonna lie, I kind of fell in love with this companion. In the snowy area, I messed up and got caught by a sentry and we both paid for it. I felt extremely bad about it because they suffered for my mistake as well, because we were huddling together for warmth. Then, near the end when they collapsed in front of me from the cold, I was heartbroken as I did the same. I have heard nothing but good reviews about this game and meeting someone, not being able to communicate other than "singing", traveling together, and genuinely starting to care for this person really made the game a memorable experience for me. I'd give this game 9.5 hearts out of 10. The missing .5 being that this game is extremely short. Like, we beat it in less than an hour. I just wanted it to last longer so we could keep traveling together.
