Just at the vet getting a check up and Kennel Cough vaccination. Leg and health got the thumbs up. Down to 28.8kgs (at one stage he was 38kgs!) and they would like him to be 28kgs. Wow. Finn has just had his 4 week, post operative checkup. All going fabulously so far thank goodness. #mmp #modifiedmaquetprocedure He has also lost 500grams - down to 30.5 kgs. Vet says he could probably get down to 27 kgs. Not keen on that imagine his lollipop head! Finn Update: Day Two He had his cruciate operation on Wednesday afternoon and it is now Friday 9am and look how well he is walking! The procedure is called Modified Maquet Procedure or MMP - less invasive than the most recommended TPLO. We have removed the fentanyl patches a day early.
