Just kidding, I know you mean Pokémon. Well really, I'll just be happy to have a Pokémon of my own. My mom's Skwovet is cute and fun to have around the house, while my dad's team are super strong and cool - I kind of like both.
I've wanted to become closer with Pokémon for a while - I used to be antsy around them when I was more of a shut-in in my youth, but eventually realized I needed exposure and to get out in the world.
That's why Naranja Academy was so appealing to my family - the whole "Treasure Hunt" thing should be a really good way to get my feet wet for independence! If Naranja offers me a "starter," I'll take one. I've seen pictures of Paldea's first-partner trio and I like all three of them well enough.
(Mom says that if all else fails Skwovet is low-level and would enjoy getting out more with me, but I'd rather he level up and evolve on her terms. She's the one who caught him, after all.)
