i have waited 8 years for my favourite show to become good again - i’m glad it’s going back to it’s roots (nuwho-wise, at least)

i would be totally on board with a female master were it not for the fact that;

moffat clearly did it to cover his own ass after being too bigoted to cast anyone other than a white cishet man as 12

one of the first things the master/missy did was sexually assault the doctor, i thought we had moved on from moffats fascination with unreciprocated kisses but apparently not

moffat has yet again written another 'sassy, strong, independent woman' who actually has the depth of an A4 sheet of paper and the master/missy deserves more than that

clearly 'the master' exudes far too much authority for a woman so the title has been amended to 'the mistress' which is an unnecessary change, strips away her power and needlessly adds a sexual element to missy from the word go,

the master had such a compelling conclusion at end of the 2009 specials, why does he/she need to return at all?!?!?

it's just being done for all the wrong reasons
