I think my favourite is Murdecease. It terrifies me to my very core, which probably means I succeeded
Murdecease: a mix of murder and decease, as a reference to it's deathly influence
Skippop: a mixture of skip and hop, because of how it uses it's tail to skip
Suovren: I just thought it'd be funny to spell nervous backwards
Baybit: it was originally going to be Baybutt, like baby and button, but I figured adding butt to the end of a pokemon name was begging for bullies on it
Mogfly: a mixture of moggie and butterfly, while also being a direct reference to Gremlins (1984)
Prospenny: a hybrid of prosperity and penny, to showcase the influence of money in it's exploitation
Embear: a mix of ember and bear
Bearlaze: a mix of bear and blaze, because I am not creative
Infuro: a mixture of inferno and fur, which could also be taken as me directly calling this thing a furry
