          BRINGING  EXTRA  PIZZAS  SHOULD  HAVE  BEEN  SECOND  NATURE  BY  THEN  ,  but  baby  is  always  moving.  he  forgets  things  sometimes  ,  so  that’s  why  he  has  to  offer  at  least  something  in  return  for  the  pizza  he  so  tragically  murdered  during  a  right  turn  after  missing  a  street  sign.    ❛    i  actually  crushed  one  of  the  pies  on  the  way  here  because  of  a  sharp  turn  ,  so  this  bill’s  on  me.    ❜

body  numb  from  the  waist  up;  but  even  his  legs  were  throbbing.  it  was  a  tough  match.  there  were  tons  of  hits  to  the  face  and  back  that  billy  couldn’t  block  ( or  tried  to ).  he  knew  what  was  coming  though.  an  even  bigger  beating  from  maureen.  talk  about,  what  he  wanted  to  be  like  when  leila  got  older,  and  who  she  could  become  with  a  punching  bag  for  a  father.  but  billy  won,  and  as  in  rough  shape  as  he  was,  all  he  wanted  to  do  was  go  home  and  celebrate  with  his  favourite  girls. as  the  door  to  the  dressing  room  swung  open,  and  the  click  of  heels  bounced  off  the  walls,  billy  tried  his  best  to  wipe  away  any  blood  still  dripping  from  his  face,  but  failed  to  do  so  as  the  sudden  rapid  motion  caused  a  striking  pain  in  his  lower  back.  he  yelped  in  pain  and  dropped  the  white  towel  stained  red,  just  in  time  for  maureen  to  see.       ❝     i  know,  i  know.  look  baby,  all  i  wanna’  do  is  go  home,  can  you  just  help  me  get  my  socks  off  so  i  can  get  in  the  shower.     ❞

She’s more than old enough to go to sleep by herself; twelve years old, it had already been three whole years since she had reached double digits. But when she sees her mom passing by the hallway, she calls out, seeking comfort. Leila is all snuggled in with her stuffed puppy - (Benjamin Pupperton III, Head of the Pupperton Estate), and she peeks out, wriggles up when her mom presses a kiss on her forehead. 

Likes it when it’s the two of them, too, but the house is so big that Leila’s half afraid the house will swallow them all up and Daddy won’t be able to find them, and what would he do, then?

Shifts over some when her mom lies down next to her, and Leila will automatically curl up against her. Doesn’t even have to ask and her mom has read her mind. Leila smiles against her chest, nodding her head.

           “Yes, please.” She says, Benjamin safely tucked under one arm. “ --...I might have caught the tail end of a movie I wasn’t actually probably meant to see.” Leila admits, peeking up before burrowing back down.

          “Are we gonna pick Daddy up from the airport tomorrow?”

          the only best friend he’s ever had sat crying on her cot of a bed. boys weren’t allowed in the girls side of the home at the late hours of nine o’clock; but that didn’t stop billy from sneaking in and standing in front of her, spending an hour trying to find out what was wrong, who did something to her, and what he should do. luckily, the room maureen shared with other girls, didn’t care much about having a male sneak into their room all the time. but even if her roommates did care, they wouldn’t stop billy, he’d still see her no matter what, especially not at a time like this.          ❝     mo c’mon. tell me what happened.     ❞          his voice sharp as he whispered, trying not to disturb the others.
