post ankle surgery like

#minor scary moment lol #apparently my body decided to activate gastroparesis at the WORST possible time (night before surgery)#so i have all these doctors like sooo you ate too late. you threw up like a distinct meal #bc i sometimes have gastroparesis. but i sometimes dont. like the time i got tested for it #like i threw up AGAIN the next night bc i was coughing so much and like. yeah that was my entire dinner from 24 hours earlier. classic #like banh mi and cookie ice cream sandwich right there huh #and i aspirated which happens to me sometimes when i sleep as real mol heads know #but then i wake up! but couldn't bc anesthesia! so i had my oxygen go down and i've had to cough up stomach acid which ugh #and like got all these antibiotics and shit for asp pneumonia and shit and all this respiratory stuff #so my night in the hospital turned into the icu. which was fine tbh! i was so like. guys i'm fine this happens so much #and THEN the continuous nerve block which was the whole reason i was doing a night in the hospital fell OUT #and i was like uh should we put it back? and no one seemed to think it was important lol #so the pain was KILLER last night but we are doing better today!#i'm so sticky and sore and bruised from all these ivs and shit #but overall doing fine!!! wheezy and sore throat from general anesthesia #just chilling 24/7 #habs playoffs start on my birthdayyy so lfg #mol.txt #eds posting

#mol.txt #eds posting #i am TIRED!!! i do not FEEL GOOD!#but i'm like. well i have to test some shit out before i can be like no it doesn't work #bc unfortunately i Do have scientific integrity and a respect for research #and even tho this is just. one person doing experiments on herself. i cannot help but be like THE VARIABLES #so after Bad Bad Bad pain this morning and a nap. i did two pills no food #and they're certainly working for pain? but also kind of making me feel like garbage #but also. do i feel like garbage bc i haven't eaten? great question #do i have the strength to figure out food while this. medicine gooey? also a great q #bc right now i feel like i cannot move my limbs #like typing this on my phone is just. movement from the wrist down #idk i think i'm also just having a DAY for no real reason #other than i'm Tired and i'm Fussy and the habs lost and none of the books i have are grabbing me #and i’m fucking. bored and i dont know what to do about that idk idk idk #just having a day! really have been having A Few Days bc the endless tech support day rly. took a toll lmao #hm how about later once my pills have worn off but pre night pills i take a nice long shower to try and feel better #bc ANOTHER annoying thing. i dont know if i can reliably shower on these yet #and i do not need a naked slip and fall!#so. maybe thags a plan. maybe write fic maybe fuck around and do nothing #okay read a little figure out food get moving to living room and vibe it out #we can do this ! ugh!#anyway these pills are like conceptually awesome (daytime pain relief) but i think they are not actually the right ones for me #so like. i'll message the doc and whatever #ehlers danlos fucking sucks sorry everyone
