As a community, we need stop the most insecure ppl of our community explain the label. Not going to name names, but I introduced the label to a dear friend of mine. She labeled another mab at work a Mollis the next day for saying he likes pegging and dominant women... Mollis is about GNC first. Rolereversal comes second. The person actually has to be feminine.
Trans Mollis have to deal with the reprecussions of harmful rhetoric. Trans Men have to deal with slurs like Femboy, and oversexualization of our identity.
I've begged and pleaded with this community to my wits end for basic understanding of gender theory. Half of the community watch at a distance. We should do better.
Lowkey it feels like y’all are scared of men who actually want to pass as really fem, so there’s a lot of capping about liking feminine men. Most of the “rep” I see is still 6’0+, bony or toned dudes, which isn’t what the average man looks like at all, much less feminine men.
Not trying to be rude to ya'll ofc, but its annoying seeing ppl represent u who arent you.
Daily reminder: Being cis isn't an identity. Nor is your assigned gender at birth, nor is being GC (gender conforming). It is a label marker of your privilege in society. That is all.
GNC people go through so fucking much from their own communities and we need to stop normalizing it.
In gay spaces, when something goes wrong internally, we are the first ones to recieve backlash by our GC counterparts. We cannot act like the privelege of gender conformity and the socially ingrained nature of Gynarchophobia/Cuphobia isn't deep within our community.
We are shunned. Told to shut up. We're redirected to a common enemy when we face bigotry. Our experiences are objectified. We're reduced, beaten, sexualized, all while we smile as we hold up the very building of queer spaces.
It doesn't do much to ignore Gynarchophobia/Cuphobia. It just hurts us all.
If you guys thought I was only being annoying, this is what people are saying GNC trans men. Alot of these posts coming from other trans people.
Most of this logic isn't true, as most GNC trans men are still on T (like me). It's completly ridiculous that trans men are constantly attacked. Transphobia and Cuphobia combined.
talking to any cishet person about gender usually ends up like this
