Jackie Curtiss of comedy team Antone and Curtiss: Jack Paar liked us. The thing I remember about doing the Jack Paar show was Molly Bee. She was a country singer. She was on the show. In between the commercials she went on and sang songs. Very good, cute blonde. They went to commercial and Jack Paar just flipped! The profanity. ‘Who wrote that shit?’ This and that. I couldn't figure it out. At the time, the big thing that was going around America was, ‘What is Jack Paar really like?’ When people asked me that I said, ‘Well, he treated us very good.’ Not mentioning what I had seen. To this day I can't figure out what that sweet girl could have done to bring out this hostility.
