Being the one on closing shift that day, it was CJ's usual job to search in the actual rage room as well as the waiting and changing areas for anything to go into the lost and found box. Upon his search, he found a wallet. No ID, but with a wad of cash in it. And a loyalty card to one of the coffee shops in town with only one stamp left on it for the reward. And whilst he knew he should have dropped it into the box in the secure staff room, CJ went against his morals and took the cash out (and the loyalty card) leaving the empty wallet amongst the unclaimed sunglasses and some hats and gloves left over from winter. Leaving work, he waved down to Molly who had been waiting for him. "Hypothetically, if you saw some rando dude's wallet with like a big wad of dollar bills in it, would you pocket the cash?" Feeling too guilty about presenting the situation as imagined, he pulled out said cash. "And if it wasn't hypothetical and you know someone did it anyway, what would you do?"

On a rare, free-errand morning like this, there were a few things that Ingrid enjoyed doing, and treating herself while reading her newest book was one of them. Sipping on a steaming cup of coffee to keep her warm, green hues gazed out the window at the bustling street outside. It was a rare moment of peace in her busy life, and she savored every second of it. As she turned the page of her book, Ingrid couldn't help but notice a familiar face on the street, causing a smile to form on her face before raising her hand to wave at her. Molly Williams -- a true mystery in the heart of Providence Peak, was fun to be around, and the brunette wouldn't mind having a word. Come inside, she mouthed, as soon as the brunette made eye contact.

"Moll.." Toni called out, so transfixed by the message on her phone's screen that she wasn't sure if she'd been loud enough for her friend to hear her. She had to know if her blood had suddenly gone cold for no good reason. For someone she trusted to tell her that she was being paranoid. "Come look at this text?" she quickly thrusted the phone at Molly then curled up next to her, so she could peer at the screen over Molly's shoulder. "Am I trippin'?" she asked, barely above a whisper. "Or is that my ex reaching out?"

It was no wonder his sister had traded out the couch for an entire place for her and friend to share. He wasn't surprised that Aslihan had taken her in, but he was shocked that Molly hadn't managed to screw that up just yet. Rather than knock, he'd let himself in and when he heard the door opening to the entrance, he turned with a big grin, thankful that it was Molly and not her friend. "Welcome home," he exhaled through a nervous breath. He'd taken his time with reaching out and while he'd had a list of things he wanted to apologize for, now all he could think about was cracking jokes and hoping that his humor was enough to get him through it. "I talked to Asli before I just came in. She said you popped out and she figured you'd be back soon enough. Nice place you've got goin' on here. Beats slumming it on the couch, right? I met your friend, but the way. She convinced me that we'd screwed before telling me that she knew you."

Toni was excited to reunite with her bestie from Florida now that they were in the same town again after several years. They had made plans to meet up for chips and guac and drinks at the local Mexican restaurant and from there? The possibilities for margarita-fueled adventures were limitless. Toni found Molly seated not too far from the entrance of the restaurant and happily approached the table while Molly was distracted with the menu. She covered Molly’s eyes from behind and chirped, “Guess who, biotch..!”

“If he tries to buy you a drink, just say no.” Making drinks was her job, as much as it was to listen to other people’s problems for free, but when Ingrid would see a new face around, she could only give them friendly advice and let them make a decision. Motioning toward the guy she was talking about, she rested against the counter before finally turning at the woman. “He can be very clingy and it wouldn’t be the first time he was kicked out.” Ingrid added, flashing her a smile. “So, what can I get you?”

CJ had completely forgotten about the wallet that he may have stolen, on a technicality. Weeks had passed and no one had came into The Break Room to claim it and, with his quick trip to visit some old friends in San Diego, and extra shifts at the pool during the busy weeks where everyone basked in the summer sun 'one last time', the knowledge of its existence left his easily distractable head. Until he was looking his old Magic 8 ball when trying to make a very important decision regarding his newest Netflix binge, finding it under his bed. There was still a couple of crisp notes tucked in there, so naturally, he invited Molly out immediately. "I think we have enough for the two-for-one tequila and taco combo," He noted enthusiastically as they stepped through the restaurant. "Ooh, I recently been to San Diego. I was gonna ask after you, but then I was like...what if she used a fake name, y'know? Then it got me thinking, what would my fake name be? I think I'd go with something really unassuming," They sat, him taking the large, laminated menu even though he knew what he'd be getting, "...like, Terrence. What about you?"

"Wait-Wait. Let me capture this golden moment on video." Toni fished her phone out of her jeans back pocket, quickly navigating to the camera app. She focused the frame on Molly in front of the frozen banana stand, doing her best to control her laughter to hold her device steady. "Okay--ladies and gentlemen, Molly Williams swore she could fit a whole banana in her mouth. Toppings and all. Can she do it? Or if she full of shit? Let's find out!"
