It’s funny how daddy issues can make you crave love so much, like you want to be completely filled by it, to the point where you’re afraid of losing it.

And how mommy issues can make you want to control love so much, to stay so emotionally in control, that you grow distant from it to the point that you become comfortable with only a small part of it, even letting some of it get lost.
