kcd2 being so popular means more people are starting kcd1 which means more people are playing a needle in a haystack quest which means more people are getting interested in pious and clocking his chemistry with henry which means more people are making content about him and the quest in general which means more people are going to see The Vision… yeas… it’s all going according to plan…
Imo the only thing Pious could've poisoned Henry with to cause such a mild reaction that he expected to be fatal is belladonna, because what he doesn't know is that Henry's insane and has been microdosing that shit every day for years; it's a key ingredient in his favorite alcoholic beverage/save mechanic.

I love this quest. I love the characters in this quest. Poor fucking Lucas.
I do want to note how Henry brings up reading/hearing Lucas is a sodomite:
He sees/hears that Lucas likes men and immediately starts questioning him about it. Not inherently out of judgment. Henry is naturally curious, but also recognition.
And Lucas is so... my poor guy. Like, I'm glad he stands up for himself like this, but this is rough. Obviously, I don't have Henry call him the spawn of Satan, so he just says it's "interesting":
The phrasing is interesting, like Henry is looking for someone who understands to talk to about it. I wish there was an option to tell Lucas Henry has a crash on guy he met a few weeks ago or something...
Also, obviously, I can't not help Lucas with the Circators, who at first say this:
And after Henry stands up for Lucas they say this:
So they just assume Henry is a sodomite by association with Lucas. They happened to be right in Henry's case.
Also also, they're both fucking hypocrites because John says this to Stribor (might be the other way around) if you just stand and listen to them:
Which is making me extremely uncomfortable combined with them bothering Lucas... Just go bother Jodok, who's a rapist and deserves it.
Also, Lucas's page in the abbot's book says this:

Which made me very disappointed romancing any/all of the novices was not an option. The game practically offers the idea to me and then doesn't allow me to even kiss any of them.
