In honor of the amazing show we saw tonight @TheSatelliteLA, we're throwing today's Monday Funk to Smoke Season. This LA duo has been described as a kind of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros/The XX hybrid, which is both accurate and an understatement. With the combination of Jason Rosen's skills on the guitar and Gabrielle Wortman's fierce vocals, topped off with their chemistry (that can be heard and felt on their EP, as well as seen and felt in their live performance), they bring a unique and intoxicating quality that is all their own.

@coin_music - It's Okay

It is okay; you needn't fret any longer. Yes, we were gone for a while, but we needed to sort some things out so that we could continue to bring a great music experience, and take it to another level. 

So yes, we're back, and we're hitting you hard with the help of COIN. These Nashville boys are just too good. They have this awesome mixture of funky-poppy-indie-awesomeness that is impossible to hate. For me, the best part about them is how fresh and raw their sound is, but how clean it is at the same time. They sound like they've been in the game for years, and if they keep it up, they actually will be.

@Wilco - Dawned on Me

Wilco is an artist who has been around for awhile. Everything they put out makes me want to have a great time. Dawned on Me is one of my favorite songs off of their The Whole Love album. These guys perform great live and make a real connection with their audience. It's no surprise they've been creating jams for over 10 years and making more and more fans fall in love year after year. Wilco is the kind of band that always uplifts you when you're feeling down.

@lordemusic - The Love Club (Live)

It's evident that this video isn't extraordinary when it comes to visuals. Usually Culture Co likes live/acoustic performances that get up close and personal with the artists who create the magic in a secluded setting. This video is different, this video is just her performance and yet it's perfect. All you can see and hear is Lorde and I wouldn't have it any other way. She is the center because she is magnificently talented and everyone in that room knows it and so do we. She's a youngin' who is already making an impact. The Love Club EP is something everyone who loves music should have on their iPod. With just an EP this girl is giving others in the music industry a run for their money.
