Crystalline Kulve Taroth
A small Deviant of a Kulve Taroth, generally measuring in at 2500cm. Despite its smaller stature, this Kulve Taroth is just as deadly as its larger counterparts.
This species deviated likely due to their lack of flame glands, causing them to be unable to melt gold onto their bodies.
Instead, their saliva and blood cause crystal growths- these crystals seem to be inherently controllable to an extent- in which they use this saliva to trap prey or unlucky hunters to either neutralize or save for later consumption.
This individual, the first discovered of its kind, has been named Rose. The pink hue found on this monster seems to be in line with its blood color and crystal type- a similar compound to rubies, but pinker in color.
This monster species is strong against Water, Thunder, and Paralysis, but especially weak to Dragon and Poison.
It is unnaturally docile for something of its size and locale- found in the lower regions of the Elder's Recess. It consumes mostly rock, but can be seen partaking in a carnivorous diet should the opportunity arise.
This individual lives in a lair encrusted with crystal growths. There are noted cases of bones encased in crystal- trophies, perhaps old food- in its den.
