It looks like there’s a few things labeled easy... though, he wonders if the city’s watchers are really expecting kids to participate in this silliness. But it might be good practice... just in case things actually did go devastatingly wrong. Grimm’s making a note to research the history of the city, now.

“Carrying a torch sounds easy...” he mumbles after browsing through the list. “You could carry it. You’ll look cool doing it!”

     “Are you hungry?” The answer is obvious, and Atom doesn’t hide the fact that he knows, eyes lingering on the apple in the other child’s hands; the apple that, moments ago, was sitting among others in a nice little farmer’s market stand. Atom’s frown deepens.

     It was his innate sense of rules-following that had him trailing after the thief in the first place. It’s his understanding of hardship, fear, and their current situation that has Atom handling the moment delicately, having followed as quietly and casually as possible. Not wanting to risk scaring them off, he just slightly raises his hands with palms facing forwards.

     “...You don’t have to steal things, you know,” Atom continues in a softer tone. “They give us some money when they leave us here. You could probably get more of a meal than that, too.”

Of course, somewhere deep down in there, he misses when the Radiance was a beloved sister to him too. :’)

CHEATING DEATH - what does your muse think about death? are they afraid of it?

Death is something for other people to deal with. Not him. It might be a fact of the universe, but it doesn’t apply to him, and Grimm will make that truth for his vessel. But even if his vessel dies, it’s not like he truly dies... he’ll just return to his true form, trapped yet again.

But the Radiance’s death does make him wonder. Could his existence end? What would it be like to no longer exist, after having existed for as long as nightmares have graced the minds of bugs?

...Never. Dance, die, and live forever!

Yesteryear is a pretty decent place to be aside from his home and other spacious areas. With the buildings already in ruins, he doesn’t have to worry about damaging anything. Surprisingly these ruined buildings can actually support his weight. 

The dragon’s been spending quite some time here. It gives him some sort of...familiarity. Like a forgotten memory or something. That’s probably what it is. Wings are wrapped around around in front of him as he lays down. Though when he does, he’s able to see a hidden...figure. 

He shifts a little, but that’s all he does. Judging by the size of the one hiding, they must be a child. He can’t change form with such a small child nearby. The heat and the gust of wind may blow them AND that could frighten them more. 

“I’m not going to eat you if that’s what you’re worried about,” He decides to say. No matter how soft and quiet he tries to speak though, his voice is just too great. Should he have known he was going to have a visitor of such tiny stature, he’d probably wouldn’t have shifted.
