The pjo Fandom has the opportunity to do the most amazing thing ever and torture Percy in the worst way possible but I've seen hardly anyone do it, normally if you'd really want to make Percy sad you'd just make him a god while everyone else stays mortal and they all die around him and yeah that's sad and all I won't lie, but as a god he has power. He can effect the world he is in and can at least help demigods a little bit, but what if he was a monster instead? You'd still have everyone around him mortal but with the added bonus fact that now he doesn't have power, he's now inclined to eat the very people he once wanted to protect and just imagine the reactions of the other 7 when they realize what's happened, chiron, ANNABETH. There is so much untapped potential in this and no one even acknowledges it :,(
So I’ve seen ⭐’s asks about the species of the Sixtended characters in my Monster au, and I love the ideas that were suggested
I threw in my own about Arthur based on some sketches I had already drawn and I drew my interpretations of the suggested species.
1. Satyr!Percy: I will always approve of goats or goat based characters and Statyr!Percy is such a fine Caprine. For some reason Percy being fanservicey is a trend when it comes to me drawing him, eh...give a character abs why wouldn’t you want to remind everyone he has them? even when said abs are fuzzy
2. Ogre!Arthur: A while ago I decided that if Henrat ever appeared in the Monster au he’d be an ogre. Unfortunately I also decided that one’s species is shared across bloodlines (this will become relevant if I ever draw the kids) so unfortunately Arthur is an ogre by association. But seeing as I’m a huge Zoology nerd I decided to make Ogres basically carnivorous, humanoid hippopotamus’s. Living in swamps and muck, are extremely territorial and aggressive. Arthur is still kind and gentle, but being an ogre he’s even more freakishly huge than before. And also ugly as dirt.Arthur’s transformation is triggered by guilt over him being unable to stop his brother. As well as fear that he and his brother have more in common than he’d like to believe.
3. Phoenix!Mali: I can thank Pandora for partially doing the hard work for me. But I decided to take direct inspiration from Bearded Vultures, because they have dope red feathers and eyes. She is by far the least human out of all the monsters, but all of the transformed characters are still part human, so she’s still kinda human.
4. Tariaksuq!Jane: This actually reminds me a lot of Specimen 8 from Spooky’s Jumpscare Mansion (long time followers will know that it’s one of my older fandoms) So I had to work in something similar, hence the dark cloak. And I joked to myself that she now looks like a Sith Lord. Also I don’t know if tariaksuq or Jane are supposed to be ‘fangy’ but in order to emphasize the ‘monster’ aspect I added some small sharpened canines. ‘Cause why not?
And I added a height chart because I like height charts
p5&6 are simply shape of water ! au, I did them quite a long time ago.
while p1-p4 are another story, monster! percy & princess! annabeth,I did p1 yesterday, while p2-p4 were from last summer holiday. here is the background :
Annabeth chase was the princess of Athen , her mother had left when Annabeth was so young. no one knew who she really was. but as Annabeth grew older, the smart little princess looked more and more like the guardian goddess of the city, the mighty Athena. the rumor had it that the princess was actually a present given by the goddess to the king fredrick. with the girl’s reputation of intellgience and determination , it seemed that Annabeth would make a fine queen in the future. however, the king remarried when Annabeth was 6 years old. one year later, the new queen gave birth to two lovely princes. due to the princess’s high prestige among the people, Annabeth soon became the thorn in the queen’s side. the queen decided to get rid of this annoying princess. and question, which god could an Athenian most easily offend? the answer is obvious, Poseidon. the irascible and capricious sea god was a perfect excuse. at the instigation of the queen , admiration for the princess was defeated by the fear of the sea god. thus , Annabeth was going to be sacrificed to the ocean.
Perseus Jackson was the son of Poseidon. however, instead of becoming a hero and starting several adventures, Percy was a monster. as his monster, sally ,was a wise and kind nymph, Percy was well brought up and rarely, becoming a monster with a full name and a heart of gold. thus , when he first saw the gift from his father, the blonde girl(whose hair looked stunning under the sun) was not immediately eaten.
