Monster ClarityHD Model One Speakers Video Review
Some people purchase headphones because of the cool factor that comes with it. There nothing wrong with that, as long as the headphones are of decently quality and worth the high price tag. Beat By Dre probably take the cake for being trendy and noticeable, while still being able to deliver good sound. If you’re a hiphop lover than you probably already know where Dr. Dre comes from – but you may not know much about Monster, the gear company behind the entire production. Monster is more frequently known for their “Monster Cables”, which have become a household name like Kleenex is for tissues. Monster cables take the very simple and utilitarian RCA cable and make it something much more durable and shielded. Likewise, they come at a higher price – but you can be sure that your audio will not be degraded from one of the weakest parts of your audio system. Monster has also created a pair of wireless speakers known as Clairty HD Model One speakers. Naturally, they look upscale and professional, but they also seem to have their own cool form which rivals that of later model Bose designs. It’s designed for wireless connectivity to your listening devices, because wires aren’t that cool. http://www.audioholics.com/reviews/speakers/lifestyle-desktop-and-portable/monster-clarityhd-model-one-video
REVIEW: Beats By Dre Mixr DJ Headphones
If you are considering purchasing a new pair of expensive headphones, then your options may have included a pair of Beats by Dre. headphones. These are no small purchase, and once you decide you want to go down this route, you hope that you have actually made the correct choice. Just like the top end Pioneer offerings, Monster’s Beats by Dre headphones are rather large and menacing. These are quick to get noticed and will carry much more weight than a cheaper set in the sub two hundred dollar range. These will likely not be put through much physical abuse due to the thought of losing them carelessly. Good news if you though they were too expensive for your taste. Monster has created a gentler version of these headphones known as the “Mixr” headphones. Although the naming of these headphones does not suggest what they are built for, the price and design easily put it in a different class. By looks alone, these are much more portable and lightweight; which fold into a more convenient design. I would guess that their pricing is much more attractive, as not everybody wants an expensive pair of cans that cannot be taken anywhere without much worry. http://djworx.com/review-beats-by-dre-mixr-dj-headphones/
Beats By Dre Pro Headphones
If you are in the market for a new pair of headphones, you are likely caught between the crossfire of decisions marinating in your head. Like everyone else, you want it all. It sounds greedy, but it is natural for any of us to want the best of all things rather than the best of only a few things. This is why we have SUV’s that can handle well, and small gas efficient cars that can hold as much gear as a small van. Headphones have many areas they have to live up to. Price is still a large factor, but for many DJs headphones can be looked at as an investment rather than a cost – so let’s ignore this for now. They have to be stylish – yes I said it. You care about what other think about you, even when they can’t hear the quality of audio that you are getting in your own headphones. You don’t want to be looked at as archaic or drab, so you gravitate to well known brands that have brand appeal. Comfort is a biggie as well. If they don’t feel right for 10 minutes, they won’t feel very well in two hours. http://djworx.com/review-beats-by-dre-pro-headphones/
Kimber Kable 8TC Speaker Cable Review
If you thought trying to compare speakers was difficult, try comparing speaker cables apart from each other. Without writing on the sides of the cables, how the hell would you know what you are actually using? And even if you did know their brands and specs, how do you really know that one is better than the other. In a typical speaker system it will be pretty difficult to judge a cable’s quality by the sound quality – but once you use them on a nice system that an audiophile would own, the differences will become noticeable. Speaker cables, much like power cables, are constantly being branded and labeled to do “this” or “that”, once you get the sale pitch you can begin to discover what they are really all about. At the most basic level, speakers can be wired together using cheap lamp wire. This stuff was made cheap, and should only cost maybe a quarter for a foot of it. Of course with this you’ll have to cut your own terminals and rig up a way to secure the wires. When you start shopping for better brands, you’ll find cable that comes with its owner connectors as well as some serious insulation from the elements. http://www.audioholics.com/reviews/cables/kimber-kable-8tc-speaker-cable

I got a part time job at Best Buy, and I spent 4-5 hours there today getting trained. It was kind of pointless because all the information I got today was in the handbook. The GM talked about how good the employee discount was, and he used the example of monster cables. He says they cost over $100, and with the employee discount, we could get them for less than $10. I had a really hard time keeping a neutral expression on my face when he said that. I think those monster cables are ripoff, and he just told me why. The GM is super driven by measurable results, and I'm afraid I'll have a hard time meeting his expectations. I'm going to approach this with a good attitude until I figure out what my next steps are in finding a job that's more in line with my long-term goals.
