Fixing the Sorcerers: Meet Ryoku, The Timeline Rebel ⏳⚔️

In my last posts, I talked about Kasari and how he is saving the Disaster Curses (and making out with Dagon, obviously). Kasari is giving the Curses the massive advantage and respect that Gege denied them.

But who is balancing the scale for the human side? Who is giving the sorcerers an actual, logically written fighting chance against Sukuna and Kenjaku?

Meet Ryoku/Ryuko, the ultimate Fix-It character of my Dagon Kaisen AU.

Let me spit some facts first: Gege’s writing after Shibuya relies entirely on trauma porn and shock value. Take Maki, for example. I love her, she is badass, but having her slaughter her ENTIRE clan (which definitely included innocent people and servants) just to make her an "edgy Toji 2.0" was lazy writing. In this fic, Maki gets just as incredibly strong, but for the right reasons.

To achieve this, the Sorcerers need a true leader. Enter Ryoku.

⏳ The Chrono Eyes & The Heavenly Restriction

Ryoku wasn't born normal. Their Heavenly Restriction negated death from old age, but forced them to live fractured across Past, Present, and Future. You can spot them by their Chrono Eyes: the Right eye is Red (seeing the Past), the Left eye is Blue (seeing the Future).

And let’s get power-scaling out of the way: with their perception of time, Ryoku can be faster and more lethal than Toji and Maki put together.

🎒 The Arsenal (Sneak Peek)

Ryoku carries a backpack on missions. Inside is their primary weapon. I won’t name it yet, but I’ll give you a hint: It is a highly iconic canon weapon that literally disappeared forever after its first use in the anime. Ryoku has a Binding Vow to use it at 200% efficiency, but if it gets lost or stolen permanently, they die in 24 hours. High stakes, zero plot armor.

✋ The Cursed Technique Rule

I am NOT going to spoil the name or the exact effect of their Cursed Technique just yet. But I will give you its activation rule: Physical Touch. If Ryoku touches you, or even touches your projectiles mid-air... let's just say you are in for a very, very bad time.

🦊 Dominion (Sukuna, but make it healthy)

Gege gave us Yuji and Sukuna—the classic, toxic "demon inside the vessel" trope. Ryoku has Dominion, a Special Grade Fox-Demon born from the fear of alternate realities. But here is the difference: Dominion is Ryoku’s consensual partner and lover. They share Cursed Energy, and Dominion only takes over Ryoku’s body to protect them from fatal danger. This is how you write a powerful symbiosis without making the inner demon a one-dimensional hater.

👁️ Domain Expansion (The Twist)

Yes, Ryoku’s Domain involves manipulating time. I know, "time manipulation" is a classic anime cliché. BUT wait until you see the unique twist I added to it.

It doesn’t just do the boring "freeze and punch" routine. It attacks the opponent in a psychological way that breaks a Special Grade's mind before Ryoku even swings a blade. You'll have to read the fic to find out how it actually works. 😉

While Kasari is busy saving Dagon and giving the Curses a future, Ryoku is the one doing the dirty work to fix the human timeline.

Gosh I loved writing this one. Thank you so much for this request, I definitely plan on writing about these two dads again.

Hominos and Zanru knew they were getting themselves in a world of trouble when they found that little wailing basket in the woods. 

They had gone out to go pick berries by the stream Bringing their woven basket made from pine needles that Hominos had made in his spare time. The two were chatting, holding hands as they walked as close as Zanru's spindly legs would let Hominos get before it became a little awkward for the drider to walk. That's when they heard the strange wailing from some bushes near the shore line of the stream. 

Hominos wanted to just walk away thinking it might be an animal mimicking the cry of a young child to draw in prey. It had happened in these woods before he wouldn't be surprised if such creatures had come back. Zanru on the other hand wanted to go check it out. He didn't want to chance it being an actual child and leave them there to die. Of course Hominos followed with his husband, he would follow him into the after world if Zanus led him there. 

Both being careful leaned down closer to the wailing bush and pulled the branches away from each other to get a look. Time seemed to freeze for a moment as Hominos and Zanru stared down at the bundle of blankets wrapped around a little face red from crying so loudly seeking out someone to comfort them. The baby was placed in a wooden basket, it was a little dirty but other than that it was keeping the baby safe and sound. 

Smiling a sharp toothy smile Zanru reached a hand down gently rubbing the knuckles of his hand against the baby's face, he had to be mindful of his long sharp claws. 

“Shhh darling everything is alright now.” He whispered in his silky smooth voice trying to calm the little babe. Hiccupping the baby slowed it's wails to a quiet sob. With a soft hum Zanru carefully picked the baby up and held the little baby in it's bundle close to his chest. “Where is your people little one? Why are you all alone?” Zanru asked in a soft voice, he knew he would get no answer from the baby of course. Looking around Hominos sighed shaking his head. “There's no sign of anyone nearby. I think the poor thing is out here all alone.” He said looking up to his taller husband. Hominos’ height was nothing to scoff at he was a tall centaur, his lower half a large bulky build, a work horse. He often dealt with heavy lifting, holding an intimidating aura about him but it paled in comparison to his drider husband who towered above him. His eight legs an inky black that seemed to absorb the light around him. Zanru's upper half was less frightening but only by a little. His mouth held large fangs often seeming too big for his mouth and he had more than one set of eyes on his face ever watchful of his surroundings. Black met gray at his waist with little white speckles. Zanru called them spots and Hominos called them freckles, he himself having freckles of his own. 

Though both were large and one was dreadfully frightening the little baby in Zanru's arms didn't seem to be scared. Sense being picked up the baby had stopped crying and was now giggling as they wiggled around wanting to be released from the confines of the blanket prison. “Oh Hominos we can't leave this little thing out here alone.” Zanru whispered as he gently touched the baby's cheek. Hominos sighed as he nodded his head in agreement. “Let's get them home. Who knows how long it's been out here. Must be starving.” He mumbled brows knitted together as he looked at the baby with concern. Leaning down he grabbed the basket the baby had been in. No use in leaving behind a perfectly good basket behind. The whole walk back Zanru was looking down at the tiny giggling face as he wiggled his clawed fingers in front of the baby's face. “Halfling maybe? So small. I don't think there's more than two legs in there.” Zanru said inspecting the bundle. “Satyr maybe?” Hominos chimed in. Neither really knew what species the baby was, both waiting to get home to take the blanket away and see.

Stepping through the large door Zanru made his way to the fireplace. The ashes long cold from the last fire. There was no need for the summer days were hot and the nights were spent cuddling each other stealing each other's warmth. Sitting down Zanru curled his long legs under himself, tucking his legs up safely as he gently set the baby down on the soft rug. Glancing to Hominos he waited watching his husband set the two baskets down on the table before making his way over to him with heavy clops of his hooves. Sitting down on his chair, which was just of large cushions on the floor, Hominos waited with bated breath.

“Love I think you might be more worried than I am.” Zanru said with a soft chuckle, ignoring or completely unaware that his own hands were lightly trembling as he hovered them above the smiling wiggling baby. Swallowing his nerves Zanru looked down to the baby as he started to unravel the blanket. 

The sight hidden under the blanket caused him to freeze as he let out a gasp. Hominos leaned forward trying to get a better look. His eyes widening seeing the baby. The human baby. Looking to Zanru Hominos let out a heavy breath. “What do you want to do?” He asked, speaking quietly, almost afraid to speak above a whisper. Hominos didn't speak as he watched his husband slowly wrapped his long fingers around the baby carefully picking them up. Smiling softly, Zanru held the baby to his chest. “We keep them.” Zanru whispered gently, rubbing the babys squishy cheek. Nodding his head Hominos smiled softly, he didn't mind following him down this road too. 

Humans weren't unheard of but they were rare in these parts so finding information about them was a struggle. Every time Hominos went into town for work he would ask around for any books on humans or things made by humans for humans. Lot of it was bullshit. Hominos wasn't an idiot he knew humans didn't breathe fire like one of the books he found said. He did find some real information about humans. Enough to make sure the two could properly take care of the baby they had adopted. 

One of the books talked about a human celebration of Christmas. Zanru liked the idea of it, he wanted the baby to be able to experience things from his culture along with his parents' cultures so it was decided to celebrate it once the summer had stretched into winter. Sure the baby was too young to remember it but new parents are eager parents and Zanru wanted to do his best. Doing as much research as he could Homnios would read the books out loud to Zanru while he held the baby feeding them while they both sat by the fireplace. Zanru agreed with Hominos that putting a tree inside was strange but at least they could use it for firewood once it died and use the pine needles to make more baskets so it wasn't a waste. Just messy and a bit sticky. It was rather fun decorating it as a family. The tree looked awful; they didn't really have anything proper to decorate it but seeing the baby happily giggling as they waved the trinkets meant to go on the trees was a memory they both were going to keep for years. 

One of the nights Hominos was holding the baby safely in one large arm as he held his other hand up letting the baby hold onto his hand chewing on it with his soft gums while Zanru knitted a little sweater for the baby. It was a pleasant night sitting by the fire as it snowed outside. A stew simmering filling the cabin with a delicious smell. Neither regretted taking in that baby. It was tricky and they had a lot to learn still but quiet nights like this was wonderful. Any struggle was worth it in both of their eyes. “We should probably name the little thing. Can't keep calling them baby and little thing all their life.” Hominos said after a few minutes of silence, the only sound was the faint crackle of the fire. “What do you suppose we name them my darling?” Zanru hummed not looking up from his knitting. Hominos looked back down to the baby who was attempting to eat his finger with furrowed brow. “What was the name of the man in red from the book?” He asked trying to remember it. “Santa?” His husband answered glancing his way. “I don't care much for naming out child that.” Zanru said shaking his head. “No no that that the other name.” Hominos said brows furrowing more as the tried to think harder about it. “Oh. You mean saint Nicholas?” Zanru said smiling as he set his needles down. “Mm yeah that. Nicolas. How about Nicolas?” He asked looking over to Zanru. His face growing softer as he watched his husband get up and stride over to him. “Our little Nicolas.” Zanru whispered sitting down next to Hominos. Leaning against the centaur he smiled as he gently rubbed Nicolas’ cheek drawing the attention from Hominos hand to his own. “Someone thinks hands are tasty.” Hominos joked seeing Nicolas try to put Zanru's finger into their mouth. To which Zanru didn't allow upsetting Nicolas making them cry. “Looks like someone needs a bottle.” Zanru said getting up to get a bottle ready. This night of domestic bliss was perfect. Neither wanted it to end.

He already took care of so many reptile babies in the past to fill the void that not being able to have his own child left.

Hearing you were going to have a kid/wanted to adopt one made him basically deactivate. No thoughts, head empty. Full-on not computing.

It was a mixture of pure, unadulterated happiness and total fear.

In the time leading up to actually seeing his kid, he’d he terrified of scaring his own kid with how he looks. No amount of reassurance actually helps, he just doesn’t want to be the monster his kid is afraid of.

Of course, poor baby is totally wrong because his kid is completely enamored with him. If they’re human, he’ll put them on his back and do small little leaps around the manor to play with them.

If his kid is also reptilian (idk maybe your DNA is compatible enough in the end), he’d 100% teach them to do Lethal Crash and jump around large distances.

Dates to Moonlit are a MUST. Picnics at Lakeside too. Lakeside is the usual go-to because of the large open space making it great for him to leap around with his kid before eating to get them hungry.

Imagine him going swimming with his kid on his back. I bet he swims like an iguana with that long ass tail.

He thought his kid was gonna be afraid of him. In reality his kid probably favors him over you.

🚨 SPOILER ALERT & LORE DROP: The Domains of Kasari’s Monster DILFs! 🚨

Before we start: You are supposed to discover these Domain Expansions by reading my upcoming Fanfiction on AO3 (dropping May 16!). BUT, for the curious ones, the lore enthusiasts, or anyone who wants to fully understand the power system of my OCs, here is the official breakdown of Tozunoki's and Nori's Domains.

🕸️ TOZUNOKI’S DOMAIN EXPANSION: The Velvet Spider's Midnight Lounge

Tozunoki is the Gentle Giant, so his domain is not a traditional "Sure-Kill" environment. It is an old-school, rule-based sanctuary.

The Aesthetics: The domain manifests as an incredibly cozy, dimly lit, high-class Jazz Bar. Smooth jazz plays in the background. Outside the windows of the bar, there is a freezing, endless snowy blizzard (if you step outside, you will catch a magical cold that debuffs you).

The Bartender: Tozunoki acts as the bartender. And yes, because of his massive, non-human arachnid anatomy, he wears absolutely no clothes—except for a neat little bowtie made of glowing cosmic silk. (You're welcome, monster lovers).

The Peaceful Effect: The "Sure-Hit" attack is completely deactivated by default. Inside the bar, Tozunoki can prepare any dish or drink desired. For Curses (and Kasari), consuming these treats grants massive, accelerated healing and CE restoration.

The Rule & The Trap: There is only one strict rule: NO KILLING INSIDE THE BAR.

If an enemy breaks this rule, the Domain reveals its true, terrifying nature. The cozy bar instantly collapses into an intricate, inescapable, infinite spider web. Millions of spiders swarm the rule-breaker. The sure-hit activates: the razor-sharp webs slice the enemy's skin while simultaneously injecting them with lethal necrotic poison, all while the same webs actively heal Tozunoki and his allies.

⚔️ NORI’S DOMAIN EXPANSION: Asura’s Honorable Bloodstained Dojo

Nori is the strict, 4-armed martial sentinel. His domain reflects absolute discipline and the art of the blade.

The Aesthetics: The domain manifests as a massive, traditional Japanese Dojo, isolated in a void.

The Mechanics (The Duel): This is a strictly enforced 1v1 Domain. Nori selects a single foe to fight him in the center of the dojo. Anyone else caught inside the barrier is instantly pushed to the edges and physically locked in place, forced to be mere "spectators" to the duel (Kasari usually sits in the VIP spectator spot, swooning over his man).

The Rule: All Cursed Techniques and magic are deactivated. The user and the foe must fight following strict skirmish rules using ONLY close-range weapons. However, the Domain provides any melee weapon the combatants desire.

The Binding Vow (The Sure-Hit): This domain operates on a high-stakes gamble.

If the enemy loses the duel, the Sure-Hit activates: a curse is placed on their soul, permanently stripping them of the ability to ever hold or use any weapon again.

But to make it fair (and therefore stronger), Nori risks his own power. If Nori loses the duel, a Binding Vow seals away his 4 Calamity Swords, leaving him unable to use them for an entire week.

Kasari literally has a 4-armed gladiator who forces his enemies into honorable duels, and a 6-armed naked spider-bartender who feeds him cocktails before turning enemies into poisoned prey.

Are we still surprised he decided to ignore human society and build a monster harem? 🦊💅

P.S. If you say these domains break the jjk rules, they actually don't, there's a whole domain in canon that gets ignored and treated like shit because it's a beach and it's Dagon's domain, and it literally summons a fucking ecosystem inside a barrier, including a sun, a beach, fishes, nature and the sun probably works like the real one but, y'know, Gege rather show a guy who punches hard or explain simple blood manipulation in 100 paragraphs instead of explaining the interesting stuff. So stop trying to be a nerd while there are people out there who make Toji and Gojo clones instead of real OCs!

Cuddling on the couch you rested your head on your husbands chest hugging him as he played with your hair. He didn't have any of his own so he often played with yours. You weren't fully paying attention to whatever was playing on the tv, too comfortable you were drifting off to sleep. That is until an ad for a local pumpkin field popped up advertising pumpkin carving. You cold feel John freeze and so did you. Never of you moved as the ad played. Once it was over and some ad for some random unheard of medicine started to play, you lifted up looking into Johns hallowed out eyes. You knew he was looking at you, you could always feel his gaze. "I think I'm ready to have a baby." You whispered barely above a breath. John tensed up hearing that. For a moment you thought you messed up but that quickly went out the door when he hugged you. "I'm ready too." He whispered into your ear, his carved lips unmoving.

The next few days were filled with the two of you emptying out a room in your home turning it into a nursery. You wanted the room for the baby to be ready first.

Standing in the room you hugged John trying to hold back your tears. It was so exciting and so scary at that moment. Having a baby was a big step but you had John there to take that big step with.

Holding hands the two of you walked around the farm from the ad that started this all. The two of you want the perfect pumpkin. When you found a pumpkin that was the size of a babys head and was a similar color to Johns you knew it was the perfect one.

You couldn't stop the tears rolling down your cheeks as you craddled the pumpkin in your arms. John drove the two, soon to be three of you home. You were too nervous to do the carving you didn't want to mess up so John did it for you while you stuffed hay into a baby onsie. It was a sky blue with little rubbier duckies on it, John that it was the cutest thing ever.

Setting the stuffed jammies on the table John put the carved pumpkin down lining it up with the jammies before chanting something you couldn't understand. You were worried nothing was happening as John finished the chant and nothing happened. Terrified you were about to say something but the sound of a baby crying froze you in your place.

Slowly the onsie started to move as it and the pumpkin head came to life. Smiling you looked to John and he nodded his head giving you the go ahead. Carfully you picked up the Jack-O-Lantern baby and craddled him into your arms. He stopped crying and held his arms up reaching for you as he let out a laugh.

John couldn't feel happier as he wrapped an arm around your waist. He wiggled his gloved fingers at his son cooing at him as the baby laughed and laughed. "What should we name him?" You asked looking to your husband with a smile. "Honsetly? I have no clue. I was so focused on this moment I didn't think about a name." John answered honestly, as he said he would. That made you laugh as you nodded your head. "I didn't think about it either." You said looking back down at your son. "Maybe Danny?" You offered, John whispered the name Danny. "Danny yeah I like it." John said with a cheerful tone as he leaned in closer tickling Danny's tummy. "Welcome to the world Danny!"
