24. What is your OC afraid of?
Ilimaer - Failing those that count on him. Growing up Ilimaer has always been the ONE to count on at home, because there was no one else a lot of the time. Ilimaer's and Kaspian's father is an exceedingly distant father, despite being in the same household.
Ilimaer took it upon himself to be there from his little brother, and that mindset is coming along with him into everything in his adult life.
Kaspian - Being lonely. Because of Kaspian's... condition, he was rather confined to home, not out of malice or hate for what he became, but from over-protectiveness. So Kaspian spent a lot of time growing up surrounded mostly by maids and guards, but that was an exceedingly lonely existence.
Then he figured out he could invite people to him, instead of leaving, which led to THE PARTIES.
Needless to say, the parties did not fix the loneliness.
Dimora - Dying and having done nothing/being unimportant in the world.
Dimora is the 7th Lician princess. 7th in line to the throne. 7th to learn new skills to dazzle their parents. 7th to be introduced to nobles and ambassadors and at that point every older sibling has already made an impression.
She desperately wants to make something of her own that will be SEEN.
Avourel - Being trapped in a situation they can't escape. Avourel HATES not having options. They want to chose. They might chose badly, but still it was their choice. So being put into situations, more often than not by others, is something they hate to the point where they dread the very idea.
25. What does your OC want most?
Ilimaer - Personal peace. Ilimaer wants to wake up and not immediately worry about EVERYTHING. He has been through a lot already in his 26 years, poor guy.
Kaspian - Kaspian wants love. True and unshakable love with someone. He doesn't KNOW that that's what he wants, because he doesn't really have the words for it. But he feels what he has been missing once he meets Avourel.
Dimora - Dimora wants familial love. She wants to feel the love in the halls she walks down.
Again, being the 7th daughter, the Castle in which she grew up was always full, but not only by love. Often it felt cold and like she was born into a competition she didn't want to participate in. More than anything she wants to be surrounded by people that she can relax around and love freely.
Avourel - Freedom. Avourel want to be free to chose, any and everything they want. Ties into the hate for being trapped. A lot of their life they'd been told exactly what to do, how to sit and stand, how to dress. Once Avourel hits their teens ALL of it goes out the window. From then on they refuse, and everything is an act of rebellion from HOW they dress to WHO they chose to talk to.

Fairly terribly actually, lol! No, that's unfair of me, he knows how to speak up and listen to a partner!! So it's not that he is pushy or abusive or anything, but Ilimaer straight up don't know what to ask for. He's not very experienced, not until Dimora anyway, and while he's not sex repulsed, he has been sex avoidant because of the environment he grew up in.
So once he has a partner he usually follows their lead without much complaint, because he really can't think of any alternatives! He has one mission during sex and it's to be good.

Nah!
Partially because of the point above, but mainly because his days are pretty stressful and his position as Knight Captain and Heir demands that he is always decisive. He'd never openly admit to it, except to his current partner. And even then he'd probably ask them to not share that piece of information.

Also he grew up around Kaspian and his antics. Not that Kaspian is one to kiss and tell, but he's overheard more about Kaspian than he'd ever wished to know from other people.

Ilimaer is actually on the demi-spectrum. He rarely finds himself sexually attracted to anyone, it almost always starts with deep affection before he is interested in sex.
But he is pretty firmly only romantically attracted to very feminine women, which then extends to rare sexual attraction.
2. What age did they realize that they were said orientation?
Ilimaer would not have such a realization.
He just... kinda goes on with it, he don't need any lables and frankly I don't think he knows there are such things as labes. He straight up doesn't care. He's got more important things to worry about that sexuality, like keeping his idiot vampire brother in line.
3. Did they have an experience they consider their "sexual awakening?"
Yes. Sort of.
Being on the demisexual side of things, along with being an Heir AND designated vampire wrangler, he had other things to think about in his adolescent years. He probably didn't even THINK about stuff like sex aside from the fact that the other boys were doing it, and the overhanging idea of the fact that one day he has to produce an heir to the Ruler seat.
It wasn't until his later teens/early 20's when he found his first passing fancy for one of the girls in the city. It ended fairly quick, like most young romances do.
It wasn't as much of a sexual awakening in that sense, rather than a huge relief, since being attracted to someone meant he didn't have to worry too much about the whole Heir thing... to much.

Being the Knight Captain and Heir to the Ruler seat, he has a lot of responsibilities, a lot of stresses.
And one of the many responsibilities he has is to make sure the monsters don't over run the country side. He quite frequently has to go on raids to deal with vermin.
Fighting monsters, especially bigger and more dangerous ones spike the adrenaline QUITE high. Getting aroused after a fight as the adrenaline spike dies down is not unheard of, and for years he thought that was something that happened to OTHER people, and considered killing bests in raids a good stress relief already, after days of boring meetings and paper work.
But eventually, as he got more jaded to the gore and blood, the arousal started to spike after raids.

Rant about Flambae as a character bc I have feelings 😌✨️
Perhaps it's delusion, perhaps not, but I genuinely think Flambae is one of the more mature characters on the team.
Obviously spoilers below, both about plot and characters.
The first time you meet him in the game he tries to pick a fight, so at first you are made to think of him as an asshole, and kind of a rude idiot. Now rude idiot might be true, but that stands for most of the Z-team, they are all indeed losers.
But he doesn't pick a fight with you for no reason, like at least *I* thought, in that first meeting. Both Robert and Flambae have prior beef, Flambae more so than Robert. As a villain that arrest/maiming probably felt quite personal, not to mention he likely had to relearn to use his hands after losing two fingers. Whereas for Robert that was just another tuesday.
In the bar Robert then proceed to either throw alcohol or water at him, leading to either singed eyebrows or a lost tooth. So now Robert's direct actions has maimed him twice.
The entire team like to razz Robert when he first joins them, and once again it's made to feel like it's personal. Bullying really. But it's fairly quickly established that they all razz each other as much. It's literally just how they all communicate. Eventually the tone shifts to kind of affectionate, as you the player get's the memo and as they all collectively decide they kinda do like Robert, even if his name is stupid.
The gym scene can probably easily be interpreted as this guy trying to show off, but I always saw it as him being quite caring. Yes he does it in a pretty standard Flambae asshole fashion. But he still helps and makes sure Robert doesn't die to his own stupidity and too heavy weights. Then he gently pats Roberts head while he sort of softly berates him and calling him a weak normie (paraphrasing). But again Z-team just talks like that.
Obviously Flambae tries to kill Robert if you decide to tell the team who you are. But Flambae has clearly had his suspicions way before that. Yet he has decided to be a professional and do his job in spite of that until it became apparent that Robert and Mecha Man are the same.
After that he dips out of work, supposedly for a few days, perhaps a few weeks, it's not entirely clear. But it sounds to me like he has been gone for quite a while. And honestly, if I figured out my current coworker was the one who maimed(twice) and arrested me, I'd also be hard pressed to go to work. For more reasons that just anger. There is probably no small amount of shame as well, at having to face the one who stopped you when you were in your all time low. (It's established in the game that Flambae was QUITE depressed prior arrest). Someone who knew of this for presumably months yet didn't say anything, letting you be led to belive you were... not friends perhaps, but chill.
And despite all that he shows up WITH a lamp at the housewarming party. He swiftly punches Robert in the face (deserved) but he clearly has done a whole lot of thinking, as he instantly starts to explain and establish boundaries. Those boundaries is the promise that he will need to punch Robert quite a few more times, but they are ESTABLISHED BOUNDERIES still, and we love to see it. You know exactly where they stand.
And then he proceeds to make jokes, in the same sort of rude vein as he and the team always does, to establish some kind of normalcy again, to get back to where they were before he tried to fry Robert in the parking lot.
So not only do we have a professional doing his best and climbing the leader board (at least ahead of the Z-team) but we also got a quite caring guy that ACTUALLY COMMUNICATES!
