i watched nexo knights when I was younger and i'm revisiting it! have some Clay Moorington.... or should I say Mournington :D.... okay i'll stop.

I promised ages ago to draw Monstrux again, and I have fulfilled that promise. Enjoy some redraws.

Anyways, I think the fandom does not appreciate how cool Monstrux's true design is and i'm disappointed that it's not used more often (both in show and fandom). I'm a huge sucker for 'faces covered in shadow' designs.

Small headcannon is that Monstrux is a half human/half monster, (specifically shadow monster.) Which is why he looks like that and why he was an outcast in the wizard council.

Updated Design of Monstrox // Nexo Knights

Yeah, his name is still: Ingor Monstrox Headkovich 😃

Well, I decided that the old designs were completely cringe and remade them. I also decided to take into account that Monstrox must be from a wealthier family than I had originally assumed. I won't describe his past, because there is nothing unusual there. Just count's son discovered his magical abilities and joined the council to prove himself.

Monstrox Teen:

If you read the old post, you will remember that I placed Monstrox in an ordinary Knighton family. Well, forget this. Sure, he's still a braggart with no friends, but now he's just embellishing his father's wealth and having no friends because other kids from rich families think he's kinda weird. (Yay! He isn't like everyone else.)

He is still a bully and runs away from home to go for walks in the woods with others, but this just shows his free nature and doesn't lead to problems with parents.

Adult Monstrox:

It's still about time because I can't figure out what he could wear! However, I decided to use a little blue instead of green to show that he was on the right track (but something clearly went wrong—)

Fun fact: Did you know that Monstrox's boots have a clasp on the side? Just a funny fact because it can be seen only in one scene when he is turned sideways to the camera-

I also headcanon that Monstrox's staff was originally made of steel/iron, but due to the Forbidden Powers, the staff absorbed evil.

Come on, just take a look at this picture:

Yes, maybe it's just a shadow, but it's unlikely that because of the shadow, the gold will look so gray, and not dark yellow. So I'm sure it's steel. 😃
