My Favourite Y Destiny Couples In Order

1. Puth and Kaeng aka Takizawa Toru & First Piyangkul

The reason is their chemistry has so awesome and beautiful. Toru and First are so outstanding actors

2. Masuk and Jia and (Tir) aka Lay Talay and Yoon Phusanu and (Perth Nakhun)

The two reasons are Firstly, Lay have two individual different chemistries with his co-stars in other series (YYY the series & My Engineer the series). Secondly, their storyline is so outstanding and Lay, Yoon, Perth are so outstanding and awesome

3. Sun and Nuea aka Max Saran and Nat Natasitt

The reason is their chemistry is so cute and amazing and Max and Nat are so awesome actors and are my favourite side ship in Why R U?

4. Mon and Team aka Korn Kornnarat and Gung Kunpong

The reason is Mon's storyline was a little toxic and Team is a player but his love for Mon is so real and Korn Kornnarat and Gung Kunpong are so outstanding actors

5. Tue and Ake aka Chap Suppacheep and Tae Chayapat

The reason is Tue's storyline was so messy and don't understand it but Chap and Tae are so outstanding and amazing actors

6. Sat & Choke aka Jaab Phumisit and Ton Saran

The reason is Sat's storyline was so cute and childhood best friends to not to lovers and Jaab and Ton are so outstanding and amazing actors

7. Thurs and Pao/Pae aka Pee Peerawich and Au Nititorn

The reason is Thurs' storyline was he fell in love with a ghost Pao was so unbelievable however Thurs find Pae lookalike Pao at the end

My Take on Mon and Team in Ep 15 of Y Destiny

I've seen a lot of people talking about how Mon and Team are toxic and unhealthy after their scene in the final episode but I genuinely don't agree.

Having watched every scene that Mon and Team have appeared in during the entire show, doesn't it seem odd that their relationship would be so toxic all of a sudden? It doesn't resemble their relationship in past episodes at all.

The way I see it is that they were doing a D/s scene (Mon = Dom, Team = sub). Team (aka Prince) had to convince/ beg Mon (aka Smile) to be allowed to go out with Nuea and Kaeng (apparently it had been months since last time he want out) and when he was given permission he had to wear what Mon wanted (the outfit that looked like Mon's style threw up on him) and be back by a certain time (10:15 PM).

One of the reasons I think this is a D/s scene and not a everyday thing is that 1)

Team wears normal clothes every other scene we see him

They don't call each other by their names rather they use the titles Prince and Smile.

Kaeng and Nuea react surprised and amused by what Team is wearing at the bar indicating that this is not normal. There is also no indication that neither have not hang out with him in months which I believe at least one of them would bring up

When we see Team at the bar in Puth-Kaeng's story he is dressed normally and doesn't not seem constrained by any time limits like he was in his story

The whole story doesn't really matched their shown personalities at all.

While I can only speculate on why this specific scene, I believe that Mon still occasionally feels insecure in his relationship with Team due to how they got together and needs to take control and have Team prove to him that he loves and desires him. Having Team willingly submit to his orders may do this. On Team's side he may submit to Mon because he may feel that he needs to prove himself and his love to Mon also because of how they got together and how he acted before their relationship.

Or maybe Mon has a Dominant side and Team has a submissive side that they like to express occasionally, which is perfectly fine.

While the whole story/ scene and D/s aspects of it may not have been dealt with correctly (since most viewed it as toxic), it is still nice to see some representation, especially in BL.

Look, they're adorable. Do I know what they're saying? Nope! Three minute special with no subtitles... but whatever, they're cute enough.

I don’t know if you’ve watched the last ep of y destiny yet but when you do I would love to hear your thoughts on that entire montaem role play sequene, it felt a little…odd? like it’s obvious they’re supposed to be role playing but it really puts mon in such a negative light with the whole restricting team from seeing his friends for months on ends and choosing his outfit and just the way he seems to be holding team’s sexual history above his head all the time…

…and it gives the impression team just goes along with it bc he still feels guilty about how he wronged mon in the past. I don’t know if I’m overreacting bc later on in the ep they’re both back to acting “normal” so it might’ve just been a strictly bedroom thing they tried out but idk the dialogue definitely made me uncomfortable, what do you think?

I do have thoughts on that!

Because, in my opinion, it's all roleplay and what it is, specifically, is Dom/sub roleplay. With Mon as the Dom and Team as the sub. And they're both into it despite the protests Team puts up.

I think it's all been agreed upon (at least vaguely) before they do that. And that a lot of the 'restrictions' are also part of the roleplay. It's a story. Because, think about it, we see Team out with his friends and in normal clothing just a few moments later in PuthKaeng's scene.

So I'm assuming that the entire thing is an act between them. Maybe when Mon feels insecure or when Team feels nervous or when they both just feel the need... they agree on a night and an idea and then they do what they need to do to feel comfortable with each other.

For me, it works very well as that. Mon and Team both had insecurities and worries and fears and this acting, this control and agreement of control, could easily help them both work through it.

I think that Team likes to use this as a chance to reassure Mon of his love but also to remind himself of why he chose this, why he decided to stop being a player and to love Mon so fully.

And now Mon it's a chance to hear all that love but also to make sure Team knows how much he's loved and how much Mon wants the world to know they're dating, Look at what Team was dressed in at that bar! It was the biggest 'this is MINE' marking from Mon that could ever be done.

I like the idea that it's a D/s relationship to help give Mon agency but also to give Team a chance to be 'owned'.

Team might have looked a little sheepish at his outfit, but if my headcanon follows then he enjoys that. He likes being a little silly and dressed by Mon and marked by Mon's smiley faces.

And the later outfit, where he's all in yellow but dressed normally otherwise?

It makes sense. He's not in the roleplay and so it's not as extreme but he definitely likes wearing clothing that leaves nothing to the imagination about whose he is.

So.

Yes.

Dom/sub roleplay with Mon as the Dom and Team as the sub and I honestly really like it.
