Hail He who quiets the voice inside that tells me I am not worthy to be heard.
Hail to Scar-Lip, He who has pulled away the threads that closed His lips shut and guides my hand as I do the same.
Hail to Speaker of Truths, who pushes me to live and speak my own truth as well. Who pushes me out from under the skirts I hid behind and challenges me to be whole and complete with myself - for all it is and all it isn’t and who loves me all the same.
Hail to He who helped me discover the gift of confidence, and wipes my brow after all of my mistakes and all of my successes, from the words that should be said and the words that are met with punishment.

This is UPG but - Loki looks at us like we’re all his children.
I don’t think it matters much if were His spouse or His consort or even just a devotee.
His love for children and for family makes me befuddled. He will defend children with His life. At any and all costs. Including us - no matter how old.
Not to mention He certainly has helped me relearn what it means to be a child. To live life in the moment, and to relearn what it means to play. He tore down my defenses and gently prodded me to sit back and laugh and enjoy the small things.

“You never know the weight that you’ve been carrying until you set it free.”
I didn’t really understand. Not really.
“Years of anguish and strife and conditioning are only as apart of you as you allow it to be,” Loki said, with that gleeful little smirk with emerald eyes that have seen it all.
“You are never set in stone - nothing is set in stone.
One strand of fate can easily be plucked and comingled with another and another, one new choice after another,
Until you forage your own destiny.
But none of it can occur until you let it go - burn it away. Set it upon a funeral pyre and weep its passing and turn and face the part of your future that is unwritten.”
He chuckled and rustled my hair before lighting a match and throwing it into a pile of wood.
“Shall we give it a go, then?”
