Block 4: Veronica’s Rose

Yarn: New Mariposa Pure Wool, colours 110 (burgundy), 141 (olive-green), 119 (grey), 101 (off-white), and 112 (blue-green).

Hook: 4.5 mm

Time: 1 day

Thoughts: This turned out to be the first Moogly CAL block that I really loved. The pattern was easy enough to follow, but I think it was the colour choice that finally pulled me over. I had one false start with the centre flower, but I turned it into a coaster so all’s well that ends well! This picture, taken in daytime, finally shows the colours off properly!
