what can you tell about moon conjunct north node in synastry and mars conjunct north node in synastry?

I am going to give my very brief thoughts on these placements because i will be writing lengthier posts about these things.

Moon conjunct north node

I think this synastry aspect is really sweet, actually. These two people will be very attracted to each other, very quickly. There's definitely a strong physical attraction, but even if this is not necessarily a romantic connection, these two people will be very drawn to each other. This is because these two people are coming together to resolve some sort of karma together.

The way that I like to see this dynamic is that the North Node person is very drawn to the moon person without fully understanding why, and the moon person being the one who provides emotional comfort or familiarity to the connection. Both people pretty much immediately feel comfort delving into some uncomfortable things and feelings, very quickly. The moon person often feels like they know the north node person already, or have known them in a past life. They feel safe, seen and emotionally understood with the north node person, and in a lot of cases, the NN person inspires the moon person to grow with them. The NN person will find the moon person to be super important to them in their lives, as it seems the moon person becomes an emotional safe space for the NN person.

This is a very karmic aspect, which could be good or bad. It's usually the north node person really being pulled in for change, and again, that can be good or bad. Moon person could like unintentionally influence them with their decision making, or just generally shape their emotional growth.

In the best manifestation, this is a deeply emotional bond and the two people can enjoy being caretakers or emotional support for each other. This aspects promotes emotional growth and facing difficult emotions together.

In the worst, this person will trigger an emotional codependency in the other. Enabling behavior for the sake of maintaining emotions or balancing the "peace" can happen. Sometimes, one or both people can enable/excuse/take advantage of the other / each other which could lead to an escalation of boundary breaking.

Mars Conjunct North Node

This aspect can be very interesting, but I will leave it at this: it's friggin' intense, regardless. In this situation, mars is usually the initiator and could make the first move on NN person. The NN person could feel compelled by the Mars person and not always know why.

In my opinion... I feel like this is one of those aspects that make a connection feel really "hot" when it's sometimes anything but. For instance, these two people will look very good together, without a doubt. If it's not because they're both attractive or aesthetically pleasing looking together, it's because of their high physical attraction towards one another. BUT... maybe that's all that this couple has going on for them.

This aspect can also suggest rough play, rough play fighting, real rough fighting... etc. Depending on the conditions of mars in this chart, this aspect could suggest too much physical aggression. It could suggest one or both people taking some kind of action too far that could even change the course of one or both of their lives. This aspect is karmic for a reason, and this person could bring the individual massive passion and sexual attraction OR this aspect could suggest a person/connection that will traumatize you, change you, and transform you. Mars is the planet of action and aggression so there could be an undertone of force in the connection.

When there's any sort of conjunction involved with personal planets and the Nodes, this will suggest a tight knit connection, and one that can bring on a certain level of love and obsession with one another. It's important to note that conjunctions also just highlights the concentrated energy in the chart, which is not technically "negative" or "positive" so make sure you check the rest of your natal chart & synastry chart to really determine how both aspects can manifest.

Moon conjunct Rahu

Accuracy is influenced by the entire chart.

You can experience intense depression at some point. You can be suicidal. This can be triggered during a Moon or Rahu dasha period. Keep in mind this is only one period, it will end.

You can be very imaginative.

Your mother can fail to nourish you in some way.

IRL EXAMPLE: Moon conjunct Rahu in 12th H

This person's mother divorced and left them. In middle age, they realized they had been manipulated by the father's side of the family into thinking their mother was someone she was not. Rahu tends to fog your vision. It creates illusion and deception.

In this case, the reality was the mother had tried to take the child and keep in contact but the father's side of the family kept her away. The mother was not a perfect person but she was not an evil woman as the father's family had taught them as a child.

Rahu can be a hard pill to swallow. In the example, after reuniting, their mother soon died from blood cancer. It was a crushing realization how many years they had lost with their mother due to lies and illusions

EXAMPLE 2: Orlando Bloom has Moon conjunct Rahu in 10th H

Orlando Bloom grew up thinking Harry Bloom was his father. When he was a teen, his mother revealed Harry had not been his bio father. This shows how the mother can take on Rahu traits such as deceiving.

Accuracy is influenced by the ENTIRE chart. Ofc these are extreme examples where the conjunction is almost exact and very prominent.

Redefining Peace

Saturday/Sunday - February 1-2, 2025

If Earth is a place where we come to experience Spirit in the physical, it stands to reason there's always going to be some form of discord and lack among humans. As one set of humans are working out their life-negating energies, here come another set you are just learning how.

So the idea of looking for peace "out there" seems illusive. But knowing that a deeper peace is possible within is most certainly achievable, and dare I say the ultimate goal of human existence.

This weekend there is a special door opening that can help you solidify that internal peace, and to be part of a small community of people who are moving into a more "christed" way of living. No, this doesn't mean that today you are going to walk on water or tune water into wine, but by seeking out your "inner Christ" you create a more peaceful and loving world.

During this weekend Venus, Neptune and the North Node will also reside at 28° Pisces, a place where the production of internal peace is the STRONGEST. The Moon will conjunct this spot, adding your ability to feel this possibility deeply.

This will change the course of your life today if you will allow it. And that means KNOWING that internal peace is possible, regardless of exterior circumstances.

New Routines

Do you love yourself enough to invest in yourself?

Sure, investing in yourself with better clothes, more robust technology, or nicer living conditions is certainly an investment worth making. But sometimes that investment in Self means stopping something as much as it means starting something.

Today Saturn moves to 17° Pisces, and the Moon conjuncts the North Node at 15° Aries (the last time it will conjunct the North Node at this degree for 18 years). These alignments are reminding you that old karma has been cleared, an you have an opportunity to reinforce new habits and routines.

The quote on today's graphic focuses on the soul-suck that social media has become. I used it because it's one everyone can relate to. But what else are you investing in that's become a soul-suck? That karma you've cleared won't stay that way if you continue to invest in things that chip away at your soul, rather than strengthen and promote it.

Redirect those soul-sucking energies today. Oftentimes the greatest love of Self is seen in the energies you discipline so that Self-Love has a channel in which it can reach you.

Feel Ready

Mother Life gives you time to heal from your wounds. Often times she likes to remind you that wound is healed, even as you look at the still present scar. She does this to remind you to focus on your readiness, not on any woundedness. Being "ready" is the end result of being "healed."

Today the Moon conjuncts the North Node @ 19° Aries; the only time this conjunction is occurring at 19° Aries. And this particular degree underwent a LOT of healing during 2023 as Chiron sat there for 97-days, healing that wound to a level that allows function and mobility, regardless if that wound was emotional, mental, physical or spiritual.

As the Moon kisses this 19° point, it's much like Mama kissing your wound, letting you know you're okay and good to go. And when Mama kisses it and says "now it's all better," who's going to argue with Mama!

Feel ready for the continuation of your journey today ... because you are. Feel ready for new opportunities ... because you are. Feel ready to fly ... because if you look down, you will see that you ALREADY ARE!

Nervous Energy

Friday - October 27, 2023

Today we continue our dance with the Moon in Aries, but on this day the Moon is more active, more definitive. And that's because the Moon is engaged with two points in the chart considered fated: Chiron and the North Node.

The Moon conjuncts (i.e. crosses) Chiron, a place where your soul experienced a significant wounding, and is taking lifetimes to repair the wound, and make something life-affirming with the experience. Given that we are one day before a Lunar Eclipse Full Moon the awareness of a "pain point" is there in your face. If you find yourself triggered, provoked or prodded it is simply to make you emotionally aware of more work that has to be done with this pain. See it as a little poke from God Universe to put some healing here.

And later the Moon will conjunct the North Node, a place where God Universe asks us to choose new actions, new ways of responding rather than reacting. The North Node is 8° away from Chiron, meaning the decisions you make today require new actions that heal the hurt, and don't create NEW hurt.

Yes, this is an emotionally active day, that will feel have you feeling a bit nervous, but not sure why. Don't misunderstand this nervous energy, and instead redirect it toward emotional healing.

The Shockless Shock

Monday - December 5, 2022

I can't describe how liberating it is to not be offended, shocked or upset by others. No, I haven't become so detached as to be unfeeling or uncaring, but I learned a while ago to stop letting people provoke me. I'm quite capable of that myself, thank you.

Watch for those moments today, for situations that once sucked you in and took you into life-negating spaces. You may notice they don't have the same punch they once did, that you have been able to redirect the "shock" somewhere where it can be deflected or more purposefully channeled. This is courtesy of the Moon in Taurus crossing both the North Node at 13° and Uranus at 15°. The North Node is at the break down to break through degree, and Uranus is the planet of sudden, unexpected change.

Normally the Moon crossing these two areas would bring some shock, but other transits in the chart make this a more grounding experience rather than shocking. So pay attention today as things that once put you in a negative space but you in no space at all. This is progress, and is just another stepping stone toward your greater knowing of Self. So enjoy your day of non-reaction, and note where you do react as this indicates areas that still need work.

MOON CONJUNCT NORTH NODE

There is a tendency to be overly emotional with this aspect. They are drawn into a lot of drama due to the types of people they attract into their lives. Instability is a common challenge and they cope with this through detachment. If they haven’t accomplished anything in a while, they will start to feel dissatisfied with life. A lack of purpose will send these individuals into a self-destructive tail spin. Usually, it isn’t too hard for people with this placement to find their own path though. They naturally lean towards what is meant for them. They’ve known what they want to do with their life since being a young child.
