hey! hope ur doing well :) have you ever heard of the jade rabbit? or moon rabbit- it's a interesting chinese mitology~

the concept of a jade rabbit is cool :0

It... it really is interesting and made me think of something... My hare, being an immortal being, for many centuries have been trapped on the moon, more because it didn't know that it can leave... It was looking at the planet far away from it until one day there didn't appear something dark, something strange, something that feels out of place. It was the day hare knew it can leave the moon. It didn't know where to find this dark again, so it was just aimlessly wandering around the planet for years, learning something new but without knowing what it is exactly because no one could explain it. The only things it could learn is to appreciate the wonders of this planet and other lifes. It was taking different forms trying to fit in places it were. One day it found what it was searching for...

Finally was able to get that drawing out, better late than never.

So, this is a piece dedicated to the theme of the last year, which was rabbit, and is a reference to the episode of Smeshariki/Gogoriki/Kikoriki called "Moon Bunny" or "Лунный заяц" ("Moon Hare"), as it's called in Russian. In this episode, Krosh tried to catch the Moon Bunny and I thought it would fit to make a crossover with Sailor Moon since her name, Usagi Tsukino, means "Rabbit of the Moon". 🐇🌜

Every game has a theme song that relates to the moon (Fly Me to the Moon, Moon River, Moonlight Serenade), which plays during the opening cutscene where Bayonetta dons her umbran uniform. Furthermore, her clan, the Umbra Witches, are the counterparts to the Lumen Sages, who's symbol is the sun.

2. Whether the bunny is very brave and smart or just dumb, it resulted in a nice annual day!

On the night of the Harvest Moon (the 15th day of the 8th lunar month), people gather to enjoy the beauty of the full moon for Otsukimi (お月見, literally “looking at the moon”). This moon festival, some-times called the Mid-Autumn Festival, is celebrated throughout Asia under different names. The tradition of celebrating the Harvest Moon came to Japan from China in the Heian Period (794-1185), a time known for the aristocrats' dedication to aesthetics and poetry. People would gather outdoors under the full moon and recite poetry, play music, and enjoy seasonal dishes. Over the centuries, it became a popular holiday for all classes to pray for a good harvest, offering fall produce like Sweet Potatoes and Taro to the Moon. Nowadays, Otsukimi is also called Jugoya, meaning "fifteenth night".
