Before you proceed, here are a few reminders:

Every prompt is for a so-called Moonchaser or Wolfbucks, James Potter/Remus Lupin ship - the primary focus of our fest is on a romantic/sexual or romantically/sexually-coded relationship between Remus and James.

You can submit as many prompts as you’d like, but each new prompt must be submitted separately. Submitting prompts does not mean you have to claim one later.

This fest includes mature subjects, so participants are responsible for managing their own experiences within the fest. This also applies to viewing the uncensored prompts list.

While other characters can be included, James Potter and Remus Lupin must be the main focus of the stories or art pieces.

We, the mods of the fest, strongly adhere to the principles of “don’t like, don’t read”, “YKINMKATO”, and “ship and let ship”. We will not tolerate any form of kink shaming, ship shaming, harassment, hate speech, or bigotry.

As for those of you curious about the fest's next steps, since Moonchaser Fest is a small rare pair event, the current plan is for the next round to take place in 2028, during the next full lunar eclipse — which makes our fest a biannual one. We hope you’ll stick around, keep enjoying the works, and maybe join us again when the moon and sun clash again for the next round!

Moonchaser Fest Begins Today!

The wait is over — Moonchaser Fest starts posting today, March 3rd!

So often, Remus and James are represented by the moon and the sun, so we, the mods, chose today, March 3rd — the day of a total lunar eclipse — for the first day of posting in our Moonchaser Fest.

Absolutely perfect day when the sun and the moon meet in shadow and light. This is the last total lunar eclipse visible anywhere on Earth until New Year’s Eve 2028–2029 (wink wink if you know what we mean), making this kickoff even more special.

Today the sun and the moon clash for the very first time in our fest participants’ works.

New works will be posted throughout the week in the afternoon hours (GMT), with the final piece going up on Sunday the 8th.
