aj. they both made a lot of mistakes in their relationship, but i still believe they were right person, wrong time. i think there was so much about that relationship that was just..excellent. they really helped each other in some of the darker parts of their lives. aj was so good for callie! he was mellow and chill and believed in cal so much. it was really everything they needed at the time. i also don't blame aj like. at all. yeah they both cheated and that's nasty but aj being like callie you're doing things that can get me in trouble and i love u but this is hard was...valid as hell. it hurts because it really hits on all of callie's deepest fears and insecurities but... was necessary for him. i'm rambling i just loved them and think about them all the time and told tiff i would write aj if she readded callie so.

ximena. it's the way ximena was literally like i'd wait forever for you and we never heard about her again excuse me! i like to think that they meet up again. i like to think about them dating too ofc. i just Them. when they kissed? thanks i cried. mariana was also in love w/ poppy as a side note.

malika. they are so compelling! i don't remember a lot from early good trouble days but i love them making good trouble together. i love malika being the first person that callie really felt comfortable with at the coterie. i love them.

just another tuesday in the life of percy jackson, unfortunately.  though, thankfully, not a super eventful one. he’s dealt with northern cyclops a few times before –  complete assholes, unlike his brother  –  so defeating them again wasn’t exactly a herculean task anymore, just annoying. mostly, he’s just surprised that luther noticed anything, because the mist should have covered everything up (probably make percy look like the bad guy, because it liked to do that), but after looking him up and down, percy decides that maybe it makes sense this guy could see through the mist. he doesn’t look normal, either, making percy hesitant to put his sword away.

“ you saw that? ”  he glances down at the remainder of the cyclops –   just a thin layer of dust covering the asphalt. percy lowers his sword, riptide, brows furrowing as he studies luther. the genuine concern on his face, coupled with the fact that he doesn’t seem to be trying to kill percy, leads him to decide that no, he’s not a threat, and so percy caps riptide, the blade morphing back into a ballpoint pen, slipped away into his pocket.   “ well, he only had one eye in the middle of his head, so i’ll let you take a guess. ”

the mission was supposed to be simple.   idiot - proof.   literal child’s play.   he had years of rebellion on his side,   hundreds of instances of sneaking in and out of the academy mostly undetected.   no one was more qualified to break into his own bedroom   --   former bedroom,   he amends bitterly from his perch on the second floor ledge.   glowering at his own reflection,   diego tries a new approach   --   intimidating the window into cooperation,   giving his raw fingers a much - needed break from fruitless attempts to pry it open.   it was unlatched,   just as he’d left it six months ago,   but time had sealed it shut.   fucking great.   here’s where it gets worse  :   just as he makes eye contact with his own pre - pubescent face on the poster above the bed,   he loses his footing,   falling forwards   --   through the window,   which shatters on impact as he comes crashing towards the floor.   diego swears.   a lot.   hard landing,   and he has shards of glass in places shards of glass should never to be,   and bleeding out on the a-to-z’s of laceration carpet is far more appealing than what happens next.   “   luther.   ”   the name catches in his throat as the person it belongs to appears in the doorway.   wincing through the pain,   he tries to free a chunk of glass from his palm while uttering a half - hearted explanation.   “   just came by to grab some stuff.   or whatever.   ”

like being a stranger in your own house —  trini’s not sure if she’s ever not felt that way. she honestly can’t remember a time where she’d ever felt welcome in her own home, under her mother’s roof. maybe there were brief moments, when she and her father would be in the garage, working on his old car, but they would always be ruined by june opening the door, curling her lip at the sight of her daughter with motor oil smeared across her shirt, arms and legs covered in dirt.   ❝ yeah, well —  it’s never really felt like any of that mattered in the first place. so i guess that’s not a real meaningful comparison for me. ❞

oh this one is so easy for me to answer they’re literally all canon (ish? in my mind they’re all canon) and make so much sense to me. so my heart will naturally always be w/ ha/leb the sweet angel lomls. they help each other through the toughest of times and i think that they both see each other in all the ways that a lot of other people miss and are just?? really good at figuring out what the other needs and if they don’t realize it right away, they do always get to that place. they’re just so good and it’s a real and enduring love. next up, i would be remiss if i didn’t talk about va/nder/marin. mona is absolutely in love with hanna full stop. and hanna loves her right back. one of my favorite things about hanna is that if you’re someone she loves (romantic or platonic) she doesn’t give up on you, even when others might. while it might not always be the healthiest of relationships you can’t tell me that everything mona did as a was not born out of an intense jealously of having her hanna taken away from her. but god yeah hanna’s so in love with her too they went through this life altering transformation together and that bonded them in this real and intense way. and last but not least, i’m always a sucker for spa/nna. i think they just bounce off of each other so well and hanna has such a deep admiration and love for her. i love all the liars dynamics, but i think there’s just something really special about the two of them and i also think that lets be real that part of why hanna’s heart broke so hard when spa/leb happened was because two of the people that she is in love with fell in love with each other. and she gets it, she really does, bc she’s in love with both of them.

the weight of expectations ,       far too heavy for anyone to carry   —   one and six ,        first and last in everyone’s eyes    (    everyone but them :         what an irony that of a secret number seven ,       present only in theory   ) .       they're not close by any means ,       but it's with a curious sort of  ...    admiration for his brother that ben sits near him ,      an open book resting on his knees :        how can a person stay so strong even in the face of misfortune itself ?        not in the physical sense    (    though that ,     too ,     ben can’t help but think of as a virtue :         the distant memory of sneaking out ,     years ago ,     of dragging allison and klaus to a book store and reading all about muscled superheroes much like their number one in old comic books .          hey ,    the fuckers are copying us ,         klaus had said .       it seemed true back then   ) ,        but more like how ben feels after summoning them    —   this cruel ,    head - spinning ,     nauseating tiredness that he’s seen on each of his siblings before .       but never on luther ,       no .        

half of the time it’s difficult to know whether to feel resentful of the fact ,       or glad that his brother manages to pull himself together easier than the rest of them .          “    diego says they got you pretty good ,   ”      he starts ,       a nonchalance to his tone that does not meet his eyes .       another sucessful mission  —  another set of bruises to add to the collection ,       what’s new ?        “    are you okay ?   ”

for  a  time,  they  just  watch  the  others  in  comfortable  silence;  klaus  pulling  a  disgruntled  five  into  his  little  solo  dance  number,  diego  getting  competitive  with  himself  in  a  game  of  darts,  viktor  and  allison  half-watching  with  their  drinks  nearby.  a  room  full  of  insufferable  people.  half  the  time  didn’t  know  their  arse  from  their  elbow  —  and  here  she  was,  jealous.  longing.  (   if  mum  could  see  you  now,  what  would  she  think?    )

lila  kicks  her  feet  lightly  in  the  air.   ❝  you  want  to  know  a  secret,  big  guy?  ❞   candid  question  followed  by  a  beat  of  nervous  quiet.  she  watches  diego  for  a  moment  longer,  before  she  drops  her  gaze,  faint  smile  still  stuck  to  her  expression.   ❝  i’m  terrified  i’ll  mess it  up.  ❞
